Marshmallow guy. There is sadly no more Marshmallow guy for now. I haven't heard from him and I felt we just faded super fast, not by my choice.

My alarm clock...second day of summer job = ridiculousness and crazy busy schedule. 

I only texted one person today...Barcelona. We live in the same apartment complex and have become insanely close in the past two years.

"Assume the best intent"

I was told this phrase by a guest speaker during a professional development day at work. It was the one thing that really stuck with me that day. Always assume the best intent. I realized that I don't do this. When I hear gossip about someone, when someone doesn't respond quickly, when someone bails on plans with me, when someone does anything really...my initial assumptions about them are negative. Example: Marshmallow guy. About a week ago I went to his place, he cooked me dinner, we watched movies, and I slept over (no sexy time, just cuddling and making out). Ever since that night Marshmallow guy has seemed a little distant so I give him all the distance he needs. I let him initiate conversation and I don't push him to hangout with me. I mean, we're not even anything really so it's no big deal...I just like him way too much. Anyway, Marshmallow communicates with me everyday of his own volition which I take as a good sign...if he didn't want to talk to me, he wouldn't. So I gather up my lady balls and invite him over for dinner tonight. He responds with "I should probably pass on that for a couple days at least, sick and lost my voice: (" 

So my initial assumption is as follows:

"He doesn't actually like me and is just trying to get into mis pantalones."

"He's dating/talking to another girl that he is much more into but is keeping me around just in case. I'm his back up plan."

"He is just fine and doesn't want to hangout with me but doesn't have the balls to say anything."

I automatically assume negative intent and also assume it has to do completely with me and how I am not good enough. STOP! I need to stop! He could be ridiculously sick and just saving me from his germs because no doubt I'd attack his face. He could also be doing any of the aforementioned thoughts above. In any case, I need to have more self-respect. I need to know how great of a person I am and not become upset when some guy doesn't want to have dinner with me because that's their loss. I made amazing spaghetti! 

Things for my dumb ass to work on:

Increase self-confidence.

Speak my mind all the time.

Don't chase someone who is not chasing you back.

Assume the best intent.

Going back in time and realized I never finished a long list of questions from way back when...picking that shit back up.
