the "biblically accurate angel" trend is such a perfect encapsulation of a pet peeve i have which is everybody wants to criticize the bible but nobody wants to read the bible. like when people were drawing crazy amalgamations of eyes and wheels talking to mary and saying "be not afraid" and everybody was like omfggg OF COURSE she was scared. like no actually the angel looked like a guy can you read 3 lines of text... they were saying be not afraid because it's scary when a random man suddenly shows up in your house and starts talking to you

It is imperative that all women (including lesbians, as any gender critical lesbian can tell you) understand that these men’s sense of entitlement to our bodies is directly connected to their societal, if not straight up legal, entitlement to the bodies of prostituted women and girls. (This is something Dworkin mentioned in Right Wing Women!) Libfems keep throwing prostituted women under the bus and saying “go hire a prostitute” and even if that were an even remotely ethical thing to say, it is straight up feeding the very same sense of entitlement he feels toward other women. I wonder how these results look if they ran the same tests on women living within a large matriarchal network, eg if there are essentially multiple women rearing the child/children and the mother routinely has free time to relax and enjoy hobbies while knowing her baby is taken care of
