What fandoms are you currently into? Also hi 😊
Hi, Erin! ^^ Hope you're doing well!
Oh boy, what a question to ask! There are LOTS of fandoms I am into but currently I do rotate between all of them from time to time!
Currently I'm really into Kinnikuman at the moment since I saw a video talking about it and it took me down a huge nostalgia kick! So this one definitely has be my throat at the moment, haha! Avatar (James Cameron's movies) too still has a good hold on me as well! It never ceases to stop being so much fun and amazing! <3 And recently too been having a small Star Wars kick here and there since its one of the oldest fandoms I've been involved with since childhood! Same with keeping to Soulsborne and KKFOS c: Those always have a deep place in my heart I can never let go of! But I can definitely say Kinnikuman is taking my attention the most atm!
I do have lots of other fandoms too as well I love dearly!
Maybe one day I will list them all properly so people know the stupid shit I enjoy on my free time and why I draw so much from these fandoms (though usually its always OC stuff, haha) x')
Would you say when someone tries to introduce you to a fandom are you pretty open to it or do you tend to be generally picky about what fandoms you join? Just a general question. :}
Unfortunately I am VERY picky about entering new fandoms now x')
I prefer to keep a good distance from fandom spaces in general, even the ones I am very active in. Fandom spaces are no longer what they used to be.
Plus, for any new fandoms that people suggest or are in and want me to get into, it has to REALLY take my attention and interest to get me to consider looking into it. Otherwise, I am likely to pass off on them. Nothing wrong that people do enjoy their stuff or want more people in it, I am just very picky about the things I like c'x
Hi, I can I just say your art is really good and your old DA account reminds me a lot of the stuff I used to hyperfixate on as a kid. Sorry for spamming I just really like your stuff. :}
Sorry for just answering this now, I saw it and told myself to answer and then I got sick and forgot x')
But thank you! I'm glad you like the stuff I've drawn x')
The fact people still visit DA and see my art there and like the stuff I did draw way back when I was really young and fresh on the internet really takes me back with a bit of shock. But that's why I still have my DA up. It was my first place I began with my art and posting, so I just keep it up for the memories x') Plus, for whatever old art pieces I no longer have with me anymore too.
Oh look at that, another scam
Didn't click it and I won't be bothered. Block and move on

It's my oc Maria The Chupacabra! She's hoping you feel better soon! Get well soon my friend and have a nice day! :} ❤️
Thank you for sending this, it really helps x')
Took a few days to get around but I am doing much better now ^^
Thank you again c'x
I wanted so badly to draw these last two weeks
Alas
My body hates me…
Reminder if you're going to be an asshole about being "right" about anything, be it headcanons, lore, implications, and so forth:
You are not proving any points aside that you're still a pompous asshole and it's not going to convince anyone to change their mind about anything.
Just sayin' 🤷
And a Varis doodle as well, finished yesterday night
Like the others, the camera can never capture how good it looks and sadly my scanner butchers all the colors

Two more sketchbook sketches colored up today only I just edited to make it black and white in Krita
They are in color originally, but my phone camera doesn't capture how nice they look. Sigh, oh well

As something with really chronic depression and anxiety it's kind of reassuring that a bigger artist is going through a similar thing to me not trying to trivialize what you're going through just makes me feel less insecure about it, hope you feel better and get well soon! ❤️
Aww, anon c’x
No one should ever make you feel less than because you have depression or anxiety. Nor should you feel insecure about it too! It’s something many of us go through and while sometimes it can be tough and there are days in which I do admit I feel very hopeless or like the sky is going fall at any moment, I realize that in the end it’s okay to reach out and ask for help or just talk to someone who is willing to listen. We don’t have to hold it all in and put on a mask and brave it out. It’s okay to reach out for help and it’s going to be okay in the long run 🫂
If anyone ever tells you that you should be a shame, makes you feel as such, and/or calls you a burden or a problem, then they are not a good friend let alone a good person.
Don’t give up, okay? I know it’s tough at times but if you ever need to talk, I’m here!
We’ll get through this c:
This king of of embarrassing but since you're a Hispanic/Indigenous artist do you have any advice to people who want to make works involving Hispanic and Indigenous culture but how to avoid cultural appropriation or misrepresentation?
Hello, anon! And apologies to not getting to this ask sooner!
Firstly, I wouldn't call it embarrassing at all. If anything, I'd say it's both very good and thoughtful of you to even want to approach and ask! But I do understand the sentiment given I have seen MANY people get turned away or outright chased off (worse harassed after) just for asking a question like this.
And honestly, I think this is one of the best approaches to do when wanting to seek out advice and/or wanting to look further into a subject matter in general! Asking questions and approaching the people within these communities are the best source to go by! Because in doing so you end up with many different perspectives, views, and sources that can help you shape your thinking and overall understanding! However, I am VERY much aware too that this approach can be hard to do mostly for the reasons stated above, but also because sometimes some people are just unfortunately not approachable at all. Sometimes there are reasons to this which is understandable, but usually it is a vast majority that tend to be rather rude or gate keeping (yet they do encroach on others on their cultures and think its okay). Me, personally, I prefer when people ask questions and actually WANT to learn and understand cultures outside of their own. Its just much more beneficial for everyone involved while also helping open up people to new perspectives in life. I know there are some that will highly disagree with me on this, but it is what it is.
We are all entitled to our own opinions on the matter.
Another approach I think helps to this is doing lots of research on the side too. Visiting a local library is a great way to begin some of this since looking online can be a bit of an unfortunate mixed bag now with AI filtering results and feeding such while also lots of people making up bullshit along the way and people taking it as pure fact. Now, be in mind too that sometimes even books can have outdated information and do need to be taken with a grain of salt. Others can also be misleading too so again its always good to keep things with an open mind when reading up on your research!
One other thing to do is visiting local communities in the area too! Be it various Latino, Tribal/Indigenous, and mixed communities, I think surrounding oneself with the people and getting to know them on a respectful level helps that understanding more. You also get to meet a lot of wonderful people from all sorts of backgrounds with many different stories and experiences to share! Even people who are not in the community physically but are still part of it regardless of where they live have a lot of experiences to share too! Everyone's voice has something to share and say and I think its valid to hear each one.
Just as long as you remain respectful, courteous and don't demean yourself, I think you'll be just fine! c:
🌺 Tell me a preconeption/headcanon you have for one of my characters... 🌺
And I’ll rate how accurate it is on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being way off and 10 being basically canon!
Remembering how much fun it is to get messy with a pencil in a tiny sketch book
