Suede is relegated to winter and fall for many. I am of the belief that suede makes for a very versatile shoe that is season-less. It is one of those “rules” that you can break and look very stylish and not like a dressed by the internet victim. The other great thing about suede, is that its equally at home with jeans as it is with a flannel or hopsack suit. 

These derbies are made up in Fox Reverse Calf. Fox is a beautiful color, rich with a very slight reddish brown tint.

Holland and Sherry is probably the most versatile mill in existence. They are not actually a mill but we'll let the clothing nerds worry about that.  I say they are the most versatile mill because they are the one mill where you can get everything from lightweight Italian plaids to heavyweight English flannels and everything in between. We've taken a shine to their flannel and made up some pants, which you can find on the site.
