MORE spidery Peter Parker
He hides them under his mask most of the time, and just doesn’t open his mouth too wide when he talks or eats
He doesn’t talk about them, he’s not a massive fan of that aspect of his mutation
He doesn’t like how dangerous they are. He’s pretty sure they’re venomous too, but he’s never had the guts to experiment with it
Wade certainly doesn’t know about them
The two of them are being crime-fighting badass vigilantes as usual
They’re stopping a bank robbery and the last of the balaclava-clad men are being knocked out so Peter decides to go and free the hostages
Their hands are tied together with zip ties behind their backs and Peter can’t be bothered to deal with trying to yank the zip ties apart without hurting the hostages or pulling their arms off or whatever
He doesn’t think too hard about it when he lifts the bottom half of his mask and uses his sharp teeth to break the ties. The hostages all have their backs to him anyway, they won’t see
But Deadpool does. He sees the fangs where Spider-Man’s canines should be, how sharp and dangerous they look, and watches as he effortlessly breaks the ties with them before pulling the mask back down and adjusting it around his neck. Deadpool looks away before Spidey notices he saw
Wade is, quite frankly, obsessed with Peter’s fangs after that
He thinks about them under the mask, imagines them as Peter speaks, thinks about if they’d show when he smiles
He wants Peter to lift his mask again, even just for a moment, he just wants to see
A couple weeks pass and the pair are sitting on the roof of Peter’s apartment complex
Wade bought them a taco each and lifted his mask over his nose to eat. He kept one eye on Peter, waiting for him to lift his mask too
And he did. Wade watched him lift the mask up and take a bite. He saw the fangs bite down, sinking into the food. Peter hummed appreciatively around his mouthful then stopped when he saw Wade watching him
“Good?” Wade smiled, averting his gaze from Spidey’s mouth to his eyes
“Delicious” Peter agreed, followed by a closed-mouth smile, hiding the fangs, which disappointed Wade but at least Pete liked the food. There was a smudge of sauce on the corner of his mouth and Wade fought the urge to wipe it away
Peter seemed to appreciate how Wade didn’t mention his overgrown canines, it comforted him that Wade didn’t judge, not like others always do
As weeks pass, Peter gets more comfortable around Wade. They sit around together with their masks up, while they eat and drink and laugh together
Eventually Wade earns the open-mouthed laugh from Peter, showing the fangs off like he doesn’t have a care in the world
His smile is so pretty when he doesn’t stifle it, the fangs peaking out over his lips — Wade can’t help but stare whenever Peter does it. He tries not to, afraid that Pete will think he’s judging him for having them or, god forbid, grossed out by the mutation
When they first kiss (finally, took them long enough (we don’t judge emotional constipation)) Peter nicks Wade’s lip with the point of a fang and pulls away to apologise but is interrupted by Wade’s whine of “No, no Webs please, come back”
Peter stares at him. His pupils are blown and he’s almost panting, he can’t decide whether to look at Pete’s mouth or up at his eyes. There’s blood coating his bottom lip. Peter watches as he licks it off.
He runs his tongue over his fangs, feeling the sharp teeth in his own mouth, “Wade I didn’t mean-“
“I don’t mind” Peter is interrupted by Wade’s breathy voice. He looks like he’s fighting the urge to climb onto Peter’s lap
“You..?” Peter doesn’t really need to ask, and Wade nods, a blush making its way onto his face. Peter waits no longer, leaning back in to kiss Wade, who does climb onto his lap, tangling his fingers in Peter’s hair. When Peter tugs at Wade’s bottom lip, Wade practically melts on top of him, moaning into his mouth. Peter swallows the sound, along with the taste of iron.
