Unrelated to the rescue, but I have an Ash fankid (Ash/Goh more specifically) that I want to play with so if anyone wants to try roleplaying with her DM me. She's 11, really into ghost types and hasn't quite got a best friend yet.

I found a Shroomish at Wela Volcamo park, he looks like he’s about to shrivel up
Good thing you contact us, that sounds serious!
Kiawe and a patrol have been dispatched immediately, both to give it some relief and to make sure that it isn't dispersing invasive spores (as Shroomish are not native to Alola). After any spot treatment is done I'll post an update by reblogging this post with further information.
In the meantime, if you're still there, try and keep it hydrated. Screwing the cap off of a Potion or similar and attaching it to a water bottle should work if you don't have a Pokémon on hand that knows a gentle Water-type move (or very weak Ice-type moves that can create formations to melt into water). Also keep an eye for opportunistic Salandit and Salazzle.
Found Pokémon: Torracat
Gender: Male
Age: Juvenile
Found Location: Tide Song Hotel, Heahea City
This Torracat was found in the hotel near Akala's main surf beach, having set fire to a linen cart and various patches of carpet. We suspect this Torracat is freshly evolved, as he lacks balance and has come across as struggling with co-ordination. Torracat is also not partial to any of us handling him, and had to be taken out of the hotel via trap, where he proceeded to badly scratch two volunteers before Kiawe's Charizard came to scruff him. PokeBalls did not work, so we assume this Torracat is already registered to one.
Torracat is quite young and seems to have some battle training so we suspect he may be someone's first partner.
He has no injuries himself and appears well-fed, though the damages caused from his run through the Tide Song Hotel need to be paid off before he can be collected. If this is your Torracat, please provide ownership papers and ID so we can verify your identity. If you have any other information that may lead to finding his owner, please contact immediately.
Alola and welcome to Paniola Rescue!
We are a non-profit, no-kill rescue group located in Paniola Town, on eastern Akala Island. As a rescue organisation, we take part in adverts for any Pokémon in need as well as using our shelter as a place for homeless, lost and injured Pokémon to rest.
Although most of our operations take place on Akala, we travel to other islands frequently to help out and our Pokémon in the shelter could have been lost anywhere in the greater Alola area.
Staff:
Kiawe (Branch Manager of our headquarters, active rescue team leader)
Lillie (Financial backer and Assistant Director of Conservational Operations)
Adalyn Hopper (Overworked Head of Social Media; my first day is today, in fact. I'll answer most posts)
Elixabeth (Yes, that's her actual name. My supervisor and Head of Public Affairs)
And others who wish to remain anonymous.
Please contact us with the web form above if you have any questions about us and the shelter, any missing or in peril Pokémon to report, a found Pokémon you want us to help return to its home, or a Pokémon who you are seeking to surrender. Minor donations can go through here too; major ones would have to be made through the Aether Fund and can only be done in person at your nearest bank.
(Obligatory this is not real comment)
