You don’t need to make anyone happy. You have no one to impress. It doesn’t matter what other people think. If you want to dye your hair bubble gum pink, do it. If you want to completely change who you are over night, do it. Do what makes yourself happy and don’t worry about anyone else. It was just this year that I learned how to do that. I surrounded myself with new and better people that made me feel good about myself. I cut my hair. I started speaking my mind, and let me tell you, it feels so much better. Stop trying to hide the real you and let it shine. Know that someone out there loves you. I love you, and I believe in you.

I’ve read Anne Frank’s diary before, but it’s been a while. Today in class we were talking about Anne Frank and many of the people involved in her story. This was when I began to realize that many of the names were connected to the book, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han. First of all, Anne had an older sister named Margot. Just like Lara Jean does in the books. Anne’s diary is named Kitty, and Lara Jean’s little sister is nicknamed Kitty. Anne Frank’s love interest is someone named Peter, just like Peter Kavinsky in To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. Is this a coincidence? Someone find me answers.
