Made myself salmon dip for lunch this week and I'm probably more excited than I should be

Not me kinda unwillingly getting a 4th dog in September bc I love my husband and my family and can't handle seeing a poor animal suffer

Being poor should not be a crime and if that is radical, it shouldn't be. It is evidence of a failing society if a large percentage of the population is poverty-lower income

Been out in the field again & surprisingly no one has stopped to ask what we are doing out there. Had 2/4 cars stop & ask yesterday but 0/4 (so far) today 🤷‍♀️

Is it a universal thing as a human to just not feel like you belong anywhere? Like even with your own chosen people and whatever, just not quite fitting perfectly? Or is that just me?

Simultaneously the best & worst thing about me is I have absolutely 0 chill. If i like you, you're gonna know, if I don't, you're gonna know. It's good bc the people I dont like dont hang around long bc I'm not nice to them like I am with people I do like. but its also bad bc if I like someone, I'm too friendly and it can freak people out. But I've also learned the ones who don't get freaked out are usually the best.

Not me indoctrinating my niece in dnd by playing a straight up made up campaign where an arrow was shot at her and she went to the clearing where a satyr was getting attacked by giant birds. They killed them all and when she took down the final one, her grin was so freaking sweet

Feeling a little rejected and in my head now. Imma never speak again, byeeeee

Actively diet/exercising to cut weight rn & i am just hungry all the time and it fkn sucks. I dont wanna live like this but it's the price I pay for wanting to be hot & productive at work, ugh

Ran into a moose while biking today. We pulled off the paved trail at the bottom of a curved hill to take a drink of water & remove my husband's back wheel fender that had broken off, and as soon as we started moving again and walking the bikes up the curve, we saw it. I called out moose and we took bikes off the trail and set them down and pulled out bear spray. We kept eyes on it but lowered and gave it a wide birth and kept loudly saying "move along, you go your way, I'll go mine" Once it was back out into the woods, we got back on the trail and booked it the other way. It was exhilarating tbh. All safe but I'm also so happy I was with my husband the first time it happened to me since I want to start commuting that way to work.
