#tbt to last Thursday picking coffee beans in the jungle that we go on to become my morning cup today.

The Inka's were incredible for many reasons, amazing engineers, architects, and astronomers, yes of course. (Si, claro.) But, they also were amazing political leaders. Once you enter the entrance of Machu Picchu, there are no doors in the city. There are no doors because no one was worried about theft. No one was worried about theft because everyone given the same fair share. Was this the only example of successful communism in history? No sé. Also, my tour guide did not speak much English, so maybe I made that all up in my translation... (at Macchu Picchu, Peru)
