that said, if you enjoyed rping with me i'd be happy to trade discord ids or/and skype usernames so we can continue off tumblr! just... fair warning, i might be a bit... selective about who i hand it out to. i'm a bit wary after this whole experience. odds are if i enjoyed rping with you i would love to continue! i really missed some of the threads i had on here if i'm honest;;;;
so, to sum it up, i was getting a lot of negativity and unwanted content and contact from being in the rp side of the undertale fandom (hence, why i tried so hard to make this a multifandom blog). i really enjoyed most of my run here, but i was witness to so much drama and general ugliness that i had never been exposed to because i've never been a part of such a major tumblr community. it was giving me a lot of anxiety to be here, and i'm sorry i left without notice- i just couldn't make myself come back. i met some amazing people, but i also met some people who really hurt my experience here. it legitimately took me until now to be okay with playing undertale again. i still struggle with any interest in looking at fanart and fanfic for it because of what happened to me here. i think i've discovered tumblr rp isn't for me, and much less with so many people involved. on that note, though, thank you to everyone who was interested in tammy and her story, and to everyone who took the time to rp with me!
haha holy crap i havent been on here in months

Itâs interesting that you ask because
I was originally going to upload this on OC Day (April 9th, way past the date at this point) but I started fussing over writing in additional details and making the post absolutely perfect, and... it never got posted. Oops?
Better late than never, right?

This blog isnât just an RP blog, it takes asks as well!
this is what I've been doing with my time
He just leaned in a bit at the affectionate gesture, keeping their noses in contact and touching her forehead with his own. Â And simply returned that hand squeeze in turn. Â The smile in his eyes met with the rather wet one in her own when she started laughing again.
âNone of that,â he murmured. Â âYou donât need to be sorry for being you, or not being able to keep the mask of strength and toughness up around the clock. Â I promise, your secret is safe with me that you get a little misty-eyed at times.â Â His soft laugh matched her own, and if he wasnât holding her hand, sheâd probably cuff him for that.
âWeâve left the stove on, though,â he mentionedâŚreluctant to let the moment go until she decided to withdraw.  âAnd you can get a little practice in with making some more of those perfect pancakes now that youâve got a little memory tucked into them.â  His thumb brushed across the back of her hand, and one might swear they exchanged a breath or two.  And neither one would ever admit to it.
[ * Some part of Tammyâs brain yelled for Asriel to stop being such a sincere and nice person already, youâre making this very difficult. ]
[ * ... Another part abruptly kicked down some mental door and shouted that she was getting much too close and much too emotional for someone she had only just met. He doesnât seem to mind, she argued feebly. YOU MET YESTERDAY, SLOW DOWN, it screamed in response. ]
[ * So, despite how thankful she was and how overwhelming her emotions were, common sense and embarrassment won over. Tammy pulled away-- quickly, but not jerkily-- and jammed her hands firmly into her pockets. ]
* R-Right. Right. Pancakes. Um, I guess I should try now.
[ * G O D. GOD. When was the last time sheâd properly showered. When was the last time, in general, that sheâd really been clean. Holy hell in a handbasket, this had suddenly become mortifying. Was her face red Lord have mercy please donât let her face be red oh god it was hot in here. ]
update 4/8/2016
Iâm feeling a bit better
Tomorrow is OC day, from what I hear, so I was planning on doing something special. ish. kind of
time to tRY MY HARDEST AT EVERYTHING
update 4/3/16
Iâve been terribly depressed since the 26th of March for... reasons. Um, very sad... death kind of reasons.
I donât know whoâs still following the actual happenings of this blog (what am I even doing on here anymore? certainly not a lot of Tammy, to be sure) but Iâm going to slllllooooowwwly ease my way back into RP. Things are still... well. Really dim over here. Very Not Good. Iâm actually having more trouble than ever being interested in things in general haha why this
I want to branch out into other RP fandoms, but Iâm not quite sure how. Weâll see how I proceed through the next month, I suppose...

i'm really exhausted.
Anyone that could watch that scene and not have this melted puddle of goop where their heart used to be was certainly more stoic than he was. Â This fluff didnât have a chance. Â His exterior, though, was kept together just enough to maintain a calm appearance. Â Tearing off a couple paper towels, he padded behind her. Â âAnd hey,â he reminded her in a soft voice as his arm slid back around her shoulders. Â âDonât forget you can make these anytime you like, now, so itâs always a part of you.â Â The fact that he was quite touched to be a part of a moment like this was sort of radiating from him and he wasnât about to stop it.
He tucked the napkins into her free hand, and touched his nose to her temple, compressing some stray hair between his snootle and her skin. Â And he just stayed like that, breath easy and warm in her ear, until that emotional moment began to taper. Â And afterwards, his voice was soft and close.
âAm just glad to be a part of it.  The idea was all yours, and so was a fair share of the work, so I refuse to take the lionâs share of the credit.  I just donât have many words, butâŚI dunno.  Iâm glad you picked this house to break into, Tammy.â
[ * Tammy furtively dabbed at her face with the given napkins, mortified and yet thankful, until she had calmed herself enough to respond. She briefly mumbled thanks at first, unsure of what to say. There was so much she wanted to say, she realized, and she had no way of articulating it. She would never be able to thank him enough for what heâd done. Voice still cracked with emotion, she managed to offer him a single phrase as her initial response. ]
* M-Me too.
[ * Actions spoke louder than words. She quietly set down her fork on the nearest surface, and found Asrielâs hand with her own, now free, hand. Very gently, she squeezed it for comfort; even though the ache in her heart was out of happiness rather than pain, it was nice to have someone to share it with. Heartbeats passed with her grip on his hand still firm. When she turned her head to look up at him, she lightly brushed his nose with the tip of hers-- he was sort of just... at the right angle for it. That, at least, made her finally start laughing again. ]
* S-Shit, itâs w-way too early for this. Sorry I got... c-carried away, and all.
âNot much longer.  Grab the dough - without eating it all - it should be cold enough to work with.â  When she returned from the fridge, he just grinned a knowing grin.  âCookie-breath.â  He gave a playful elbow-nudge.  âOkay, Iâll do the first one, to show you what to do, and you can follow along for the next one.â
A little butter on the griddle, and it bubbled just like he wanted. Â A scoop of batter on the griddle, and it expanded into that nice circle. Â âThe edges will get nice and brown, see? Â And the bubbles on the sides and in the middle will sort of âfreezeâ.â Â He pointed all this out so he didnât sound completely crazy; it was just how his mom taught him. Â âWhen they do, you can do this.â Â Taking the chilled bowl from her, he pinched out a few little globs of cookie dough and spread them evenly around the uncooked side.
âLast, you flip it.â Â Taking a spatula, he did just that. Â âDonât think about it, and donât put a lot of arm into it, or youâll belly-flop the pancake and sling batter everywhere. Â Donât cook too long on this side, just enough to finish it up, else that cookie batter is going to melt.â Â Peeking underneath with a spatula, it was just light brown enough to qualify, so he shifted the first complete pancake to a plate and slathered a little butter on top and offered it to the rumbling tummy disguised as a girl next to him.
âSyrupâs in the cabinet, the good maple from Snowdin.  First pancake always has to be sacrificed to the gods of quality controlâŚcare to do the honors?  Afterwards, itâs your turn to cook the rest off.â
[ * Tammy brightened-- sheâd expected they would cook all of the batter before they ate anything, so this was a very welcome surprise. She took the plate from him and was quick to both find silverware and lightly drizzle the pancake in syrup. (The dough was the best part, after all. No need to drown out the flavor.) She wasted no time in taking a large mouthful. ]
[ * ... Her face immediately lit up when she realized it was perfect. ]
* Itâs... perfect. * Really, really perfect.
[ * She barely got the words out before going to devour the rest of the pancake, positively shaking with excitement. ]
[ * ... At some point-- and she didnât know how, or why she realized this-- it occurred to her that the flavor and nostalgia were both incredibly strong. So strong, in fact, that she was sniffling and her eyes were streaming shit, had she gotten emotional over a pancake? God. She was crying her eyes out while eating a pancake. Mortifying. And yet she couldnât stop, either-- she was mopping her face in vain with one hand and holding her fork in the other. Somehow, Tammy couldnât get either one to stop what it was doing. It was so delicious-- memories were flooding in faster than she could process them. It ached, and yet it was comforting. ]
He chuckled, and sort of spread his hands in a humble shrug.  âI have no idea if itâll work or not.  This is my first time ever trying something like this.â  His tail fwitted behind him.  âBut I guarantee you it wonât work if we donât try.  And at worst, Iâm out some flour, sugar, eggs and suchâŚand am a little wiser for next time.  Just donât be down if this attempt doesnât work well, and I wonât be down for stepping on your childhood.  Deal?â
âBut what I do know how to do is make a pancake batter.  Letâs do that while the dough chills out.â  He curled an arm around Tammyâs shoulder, giving an almost reflexive little snug.  The cuddles just seemed so natural to him, and around him. Â
âThese, you do dry in the bowl, first.  Flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt.  Yes, salt - putting a tiny bit in sweet stuff makes it taste sweeter.â  He gave everything a sift together, while telling her what else they needed.  âCouple eggs, that butter melted down to liquid, and the buttermilk.â  Naturally, he gave her proper measurements, andâŚmight have thought it was hyper cute the way she was concentrating so hard on getting everything right.  He was right in his initial assessment of her, and it was one of the few times that he was proud to be right.  She was a good kid.  And a rather cute oneâ (Let me enjoy the moment, brain, donât complicate things.)
âYouâre doing great.  Now you just work the wet into the dry until itâs thick.  If it feels too thick, like itâs crawling up the wooden spoon, put a little splash of buttermilk in there to thin it out.  Little bit at a time, because itâs easy to add more, but you canât take it out.â
Once she got things to the right consistency, He let her stir a little longer to sort of commit the âfeelâ to muscle memory.  âNow weâll let that rest, and heat up the griddle.â  He showed her where the grill pan was, and how to set it flat-side-up on top of two stove burners.  âMedium high on both.â
[ * It was probably a good thing that Asriel had plenty of affection to give, because she was starting to feel like she couldnât get enough of it. ... How exactly did you express to someone youâd just met that you liked it when they paid attention to you? That... that was just weird. That was something she would have to avoid telling him. For a long time, if not forever. Yikes. ]
[ * She carefully finished following his directions and followed him over to the stove to watch. ... It probably wouldnât take long for the burners to heat up, but she still gave him a mischievous, lopsided grin. ]
* Weâre almost done, right? âCause taste testing that dough made me hungry. Maybe Iâll just eat it cold, because I can.
[ * It was very subtle-- so subtle that it could have been called an unconscious movement-- but Tammy lightly leaned up against his side, very quietly seeking more affection. ]
He steepled his fingers for a moment.  âIt would be a first for me, to be honest.  They sound pretty great, the trick would be in how to not cook the cookie dough into cookies while the pancakes fry.  Or the oppositeâŚmelt into goop.  Letâs experiment, and keep in mind that failures are just opportunities to succeed in the future.â  His eyes glinted with mirth.  Everyone messes up in the kitchen.  Itâs part of the process!
âLetâs start with a basic cookie dough.â  He directed her around the pantry to familiarize herself with the layout and where everything was kept.  Room temperature butter - there was always a softened stick in a butter dish on the counter.  Brown sugar, flour, mini chocolate chips, vanilla extract.  The usual suspects, plus sweet condensed milk instead of eggs since it was being eaten rawâŚish.  A medium sized bowl and a hand mixer.  He showed her how to take measurements, proper or approximate, as they wentâŚ.even letting her scribble things down in a little notebook if she wanted to practice later.
âMix the soft butter and sugar together until it lightens in color and kinda looks and feels like thick cake icing,â he began.  Once that was done:  âAwesome.  Now, the rest of the wet ingredients - the vanilla and condensed milk.  The mix will thin out but still be thick-ish, and really remind you of cake frosting.  Yes, thatâs the comparison I always use,â he grinned.
âAlright, now that everythingâs together, add the flour a little at a time, and always start the mixer on lowest setting, increasing as it incorporates.  Turn it on medium or high and youâre getting a flour facial, and nobody wants that.  Iâd probably laugh for five solid minutes.â  Heh.  :3  âWork in the chocolate chips after that, then itâs time for a little quality control.â  He handed her a spoon once everything came together, and probably didnât need to tell her twice to give it a try~
âIf itâs to your liking, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and put the whole thing in the fridge to set up.  My reasoning is..if we put the dough in the pancakes cold, then by time we fry the batter with it in there it should bring it right about back to room temp where itâll tasteâŚwell, like it does right now.  Only surrounded by fluffy, warm pancake.â
[ * Asrielâs every instruction was followed carefully and meticulously-- she couldnât afford to make a faulty cookie dough, or else sheâd be responsible for ruining her own childhood breakfast. Tammy couldnât have that. So it went, then, with her cautiously listening to his instructions and carrying them out to a T. (Especially the flour part. No thank you, a flour facial didnât sound appealing.) ]
[ * It took a lot of willpower to not just eat the cookie dough as it was, but Tammy managed to wrap up the bowl and place it in the fridge. When all was said and done, she gave a relieved sigh. ]
* You really think itâll work? Guess youâd know better than me.
[ *Â It had been years since sheâd last tasted those pancakes, but she could still vividly remember the flavor as though it had been yesterday. She had to hope it would work. Rather, she had to trust Asrielâs judgment. ]

He emerged from the shower shortly after Tammy returned, and fully dressed this time.  casual as always, it was looking to be a lazy day.  âYou know,â he quipped, âI probably would have finished a lot sooner if someone could make a full-body dryer like the ones they have in the salon.â  And he grinned.  âSee?  Told you that youâd be back before I was done.  And also why I give notice that morning time is bad for needing the bathroom.â
He had a lengthy stretch. Â âWelcome home, you. Â Had a chance to think about what you might wanna eat? Â Because your first lessonâs today.â
[ * Tammy tipped her head up to look at him and grinned-- that welcome home felt better than he probably realized. How strange that the sight of him was somehow foreign and familiar at the same time. It was like sheâd returned to a home she hadnât known existed until now. ]
* Do they have those? Never been in a salon before.
[ * ... They probably didnât have those in human salons, come to think of it. ]
* Oh, uh, I thought about it. So, when I was a kid, my godmom used to make these really really good pancakes. I dunno the recipe, but they had chocolate chips and pieces of cookie dough in them. I never found out how she did it. * If... if you think you know how that works, then, yâknow...
[ * Most cookie dough recipes told you not to eat them, but this one never caused any stomach aches or illnesses. And how did she get the cookie dough to be so perfectly soft and uncooked, anyway? Did Asriel have any idea how it worked? Heâd probably never made them before-- best not to get her hopes up. ]
Okay I disappeared again but I had some really good viable reasons for it this time I promise
