Bye, Bye Big Mo

Hey everybody… it’s me, Randy. Sorry for being a downer and all dramatic and shit. I guess I owe you an explanation. I’m sure you’ve all figured it out by now but… Maurice has passed. It’s been a pretty rough couple of weeks for me. A month ago we went to Poland and played this festival, which was okay but it was a REALLY long way to go for one show. Then when I came back, like TOTALLY EXHAUSTED, Big Mo was not his normal, lethargic, sleep-twenty-hours-a-day self. He looked like he had lost about a hundred pounds and wouldn’t eat anything… I mean this WAS NOT MY MAN MAURICE! So anyway, I took him to the vet and they did some tests and… kidney failure! They said it was the major cause of… (sniff)… death in older cats. So that was it…

Now we’re headed off to Paris to play at a film festival with Theory of Obscurity and then we do a few shows in South America and normally I WOULD BE MONDO JACKED UP ABOUT IT, but I’ll be leaving with a heavy heart… and coming back to a dumb fuck empty empty apartment just off Pico in West LA. Sometimes life sucks… and stuff.

Pacisist Cage Fighting, A potentially irrelevant metaphor.

A light breeze blowing both directions, west to east, east to west, north to south and all in between. The collision of these opposing gentle breezes creates a small dust devil of the cutest and gentlest nature.
