Gale - Gentle

Gale is the most gentle yandere of all the men here. He hates that he has to control you and lock you away from the world. He just can’t help it. You’re so perfect and pure but you don’t know what’s good for you. If he lets you go you’ll get yourself killed. Gale is a pretentious yandere - he justifies his actions to himself through self righteousness. So every time you struggle against your bindings or wince at his touch, he just shakes his head and concludes that you’ll come around eventually. Somewhere deep down, Gale knows this is wrong. The guilt sometimes begins to eat away at him but he always ends up reinforcing his own cognitive dissonance.

I don’t think he would ever force himself on you, but he might try to verbally manipulate you or make fake promises in hopes you’ll give in. He wants you so, so bad, but the second he breaches sexual consent it will be impossible for him to uphold his illusion of morality. Sometimes Gale’s hugs linger a bit too long and hands travel a bit too far down your back, but he pulls away the second you struggle. He’ll use this against you - “I never hurt you, why won’t you just love me back?”

Astarion - Both

The most likely situation for a Yandere Astarion is one where you were with him consensually before his ascension. Your bond was so deep and meaningful before that you still hold onto a shred of hope that the Astarion you once knew is somewhere in there.

Unlike Gale, Astarion’s gentle acts do not come from a sense of morality. He uses false kindness to manipulate you to do his bidding, and also to make the eventual violence cut deeper. He almost always approaches you gently initially but will slap you without hesitation at the first sign of disobedience. Astarion gives you princess treatment - elegant fashion, lavish meals, and a beautiful living space - just to use as ammunition in future conflicts. He’s exceptionally good at guilt tripping and making you feel indebted to him.

Sex is nothing more to Astarion than a tool of power and manipulation. In his mind, it bears no relation to love or trust and hasn’t for the past 200 years. The threat of sexual violence hangs over your head every time you consider disobeying him or trying to leave.

Raphael - Mostly violent

Raphael is committed to tormenting you as much as possible. Not out of hate, he just has very a twisted sense of “love.” He loves how resistant you are to his advances. He’s fascinated by how you refuse to give in and struggle until you’re no longer able. This makes it all the more satisfying when your snide remarks devolve to cries for mercy.

Raphael loves when you try to escape. He’s a dramatic at heart and the whole scenario is the perfect setup for a brutal punishment. Physical abuse is commonplace in your relationship but it is always strategic and calculated. This isn’t to say Raphael never loses his temper, but he prefers to strike with intention.

Raphael gets creative with his sexual cruelty. I mean, he’s over 2000 years old. He needs to keep it entertaining somehow. He forces you to engage with his demeaning theatric roleplays - “You can cry louder than that, can’t you?”

I said mostly violent because I can imagine him whispering sweet nothings and brushing the hair off your face as you lay exhausted, cooing how good and obedient you’ll learn to become.

Rolan - Mostly violent

Rolan is short-tempered when it comes to his loved ones, so naturally he’s prone to lashing out on his darling. He’s also a little insecure and tends to project it onto you. This manifests as a barrage of insults every time you make even the slightest mistake. Rolan doesn’t necessarily take joy from causing you pain, but won’t hesitate to hit when he’s especially angry.

Similar to Gale, Rolan understands that controlling you like this is not fair. Sometimes the reality of his cruelty will hit him on a random Tuesday and he’ll come give you a hug and apologize. But don’t ask to leave or you’ll trigger another angry outburst.

Rolan isn’t as sexually violent as some of the other yanderes. He doesn’t often use sex as punishment, though he’s not averse to the idea. He usually makes an effort to pleasure you. I imagine enough resistance and struggling on your part would just frustrate him into giving up, though.

Zoro - Unintentionally violent

I don’t think Zoro would straight-up get off on hurting you. I imagine he would be mostly indifferent to how you’re affected. He sees you as little more than a sex toy. Of course, considering his raw strength, he frequently leaves you with plenty of bruises. He finds it so annoying how you struggle every single time despite never escaping. Sometimes, when he’s had a long day and just wants to fuck you without all the fighting, He’ll bend you over a table and press your face into it with one hand while restraining both your wrists with the other. It’s not like he’s motivated to cause more pain, he’s just being practical.

If you try to escape, Zoro won’t even yell too much. He’ll just scoff at the inconvenience, drag you back, and lock you up more securely.

Law - both, simultaneously

Law is fascinated by you and expresses his obsession by pushing your body to its limits. He’ll tie you up and run the edge a blade across your naked body to observe how you go cold and clammy with fear. He’ll rest a hand over your chest to feel your heartbeat speed up while he fingers you. He’ll always praise you and marvel at how perfect your body is, but his crazed tone is off-putting no matter how sweet the words are.

I also think he carries a lot of shame for his actions and will apologize for hurting you. His apologies do come from a place of genuine remorse, but he just can’t help but do it again. And he would never admit it, not even to himself, but he finds your suffering deeply entertaining and arousing.

Doflamingo - Violent

This man does not have a gentle bone in his body. You exist only as a means for Doflamingo to assert his power over you. His violence is physical, of course, but he also loves putting you through mental anguish. He’s freakishly huge so the sex would be painful even if he weren’t so aggressive.

Doflamingo forces you into degrading outfits just to rip them clean off. He’ll choke you until your vision blurs, then mock you for getting teary-eyed. He’ll say sweet words and affirmations with a demeaning tone just to remind you how pathetic you are. And god forbid he comes home in a bad mood.

Crocodile - Mostly gentle

Crocodile uses suave words and false promises to coax you into letting him have his way without any struggle. Like, “I’m going to have you no matter what, it’ll be much less painful if you just relax.” He might even let you leave the house for a day out if you do good for him. He loves watching you give in and squeeze your eyes shut, waiting for it to be over.

Crocodile wants a classy, house wife type relationship. He will likely stay gentle as long as you play the role of a subservient wife well. If you show signs of disobedience, though, you’ll go from “dear” to “bitch” in seconds. I also think Crocodile would be a big hitter/spanker when he’s angry.

Ace - Gentle

Ace feels guilty about what he’s doing to you, but he just can’t help it. You’re too perfect. He’s the most gentle yandere out of all the one piece men, after Sanji. What Ace wants more than anything is to make you feel good and be happy with him. It’s incredibly frustrating and confusing to him that you just keep resisting. He’s strong enough to restrain you without resorting to injuring or tying you up. He’ll try to make his touch as soft as possible and shower you with praise. If you ever cry or try to escape, Ace will ask what he’s doing wrong and what he can do to make you love him. Also gets offended when you don’t laugh at his (incredibly poor taste) jokes.

Sanji - Gentle

Yandere Sanji treats you even more delicately than Ace, but his intentions are a bit performative and shallow. We all know he tends to get a little misogynistic and this would be reflected in the way he’s terrified of bruising your delicate smooth skin or staining your cheeks with tears. If you try to escape or fight back, he will restrain you but make sure to take tender care of you afterwards. He views you as a prized possession more than anything. I also imagine Sanji would be adamant about isolating you. After all, he can’t risk sending such a pure, helpless woman into a world full of leering men.

Shanks - Mostly gentle

Shanks sees your humanity more than most of the men here. His obsession resembles “love” more than solely lust. He constantly reassures you that he doesn’t want to hurt you, just wants you to feel good, and is perpetually disappointed by your lack of reciprocation. He wants to understand you on a deep level and knows that violence won’t bring you two any closer.

Shanks sometimes loses his temper if you repeatedly try to escape or get too snarky, though. I imagine he would hit you or get rough during sex if you’ve been pushing his limits. After he cools down he would apologize and take care of you. Not because he really feels bad, but because he doesn’t want you to hate him.

Kidd - Violent

I mean, come on. Kidd is the most possessive on this list. You’re his trophy of war and he’s proud that he gets to do whatever he wants to you. You’re vulnerable to his every whim and I can imagine him getting off to watching you writhe in pain. Kidd isn’t afraid to abuse you in public either. He loves showing off his obedient pet to the world. His violence would be at its worst if you ever tried to escape. He does enjoy a bit of struggle and pushback in bed, though.

There is, surprisingly, a gentle side to Kidd deep down. Occasionally when he finds you crying he’ll silently sit next to you and hold you close while you let it all out.

Part 1

“Come on, you know you wanna get in!” Dellinger shouts to Doflamingo, Trebol, and baby 5 who are perched on the plush couch by the poolside. The pristine blue water glitters under the hot Dressrosa sun, tempting relief from the heat. The atmosphere is bubbling with careless laughter from the family, only furthering the distress of the servants.

Doflamingo doesn’t respond to the boy, only holds a toothy grin as he hollers at the bartending servant for another round of drinks. You scramble to the bar, preparing to deliver them to the young master and his crew as soon as possible. The overworked bartender mixes up a massive margarita pitcher for the freakishly large men. You adjust your swimsuit, a skimpy two-piece you’ve been assigned to wear when working pool parties, and pray it manages to keep you decent for the rest of the day. The servants always have to pay the price of Doflamingo’s eye for fashion and extravagance.

“Get one for her too,” He calls, using his strings to raise your arm briefly. You sigh inwardly but still flash a fake appreciative smile before reaching for the tray. “Get on with it girl, we’re thirsty!” He taunts.

Your relationship with your master is definitely nowhere near as abusive as some of the other servants. Before Doflamingo’s takeover, you had been a paid and housed attendant of King Riku. Because of your immediate fawning compliance to Doffy when he acquired the palace, he seems to be unbothered by (or at least find amusement in) you. Living conditions have of course gotten worse and pay has dropped to zero, but you’d be privileged to complain. You’re always left listening from the next room as he beats, harasses assaults the others. That’s not to say you’re not ruthlessly mocked by the crew, namely Diamanté and that invasive pest Dellinger.

Just as you’re done serving them, Doflamingo invites you to sit by patting the open space between him and baby 5. He would never let a lowly servant on his furniture if he were sober, and you inwardly pray he forgets about this tomorrow. You hoist yourself onto the huge couch and try not to make physical contact with your master in fear of offending him. You’re unsure of what to do aside from sitting still and occasionally sipping your revoltingly strong drink. The members of the family are all occupied in drunken conversation. Just as you begin to get lost in thought, daydreaming of freedom, you feel a large hand grip onto your shoulder and pull you closer.

“Isn’t that right?” Doflamingo asks with condescension.

Not knowing the context of the question, all you’re able to respond with is a quiet “Hm?”You glance up, catching your reflection in his glasses and cringing at how panicked you look.

The young master leans in closer. “We treat you so much better than bastard Riku did.” His voice sounds more disheveled than usual thanks to the alcohol and his breath is humid with its scent.

“Of course!” you chirp nervously. There’s a mutual understanding that this is absolutely not true. The air seems stagnant with the weight of his power-drunk grin.

“Whats your name, anyway?” He jeers, leaning in even closer and completely engulfing your figure in his colossal shadow. You notice the others getting caught up in separate conversations and you suddenly feel isolated, just you and Doffy.

As you respond, you try to make “eye”contact a normal amount without coming off as challenging. He tightens his grip on your shoulder to the point that it’s painful.

“You’re scared, aren’t you?”

You should have just said no. But amidst your quiet panic you choked out, “I just want to be respectful.” Silence follows before you remember to add, “young master.” Your gaze falls to your lap, unable to look him in the face after your pathetic response. He’s quiet for what feels like a full minute before saying, “Just call me Doffy.” He relaxes his grip on you but continues to hold you close.

Part 2

Tranquil morning light spills into the dining room from the grand stained glass window. Following a day of partying and indulgence, the palace is silent aside from the soft clicking of your shoes on the marble floor and the distant clatter of dishes echoing from the kitchen. The donquixote family are probably all busy catching up on the work they put off the day before. Still mornings like this have always been your favorite, you note to yourself as you set the table with oversized silverware. Once the table is set, you head to the library to dust the books - the next step in your typical routine.

You rush down the hall as soon as you hear the sound of a pained wail coming from the library. If a member of the family was hurt and you ignored it, you could lose your life. When you shove the door in, you’re met with the sight of Doflamingo alone in his library chair, panting with a hand to his chest.

Relieved at the lack of injury, but confused nonetheless, you ask what’s wrong. He turns to face you and he’s not wearing his glasses. The sight of his fear-filled eyes is intensely humanizing and intimate. They have a soft downturned curve with red irises and small pupils.

After a silent pause, you realize you’re probably intruding on something personal. Before you can apologize he exhales your name in relief.

“It was just a bad dream.” Doffy’s voice is unrecognizable - almost weak - and he sounds like he’s reassuring himself more than you. He puts back on his glasses, which must have fallen on the floor when he shot awake, and sinks into his chair with a sigh.

“I can go help with dishes and come back to dust the books later, if you’d like.” You’re careful with your words, not daring to make Doffy feel embarrassed. “No. This needs done now,” he demands, his usual arrogant tone returning with the glasses back on his face.

Even with Doffy’s back facing you, the awkward tension is impossible to ignore as you get to work on the first section.

He eventually breaks the silence. “They were so cruel to me,” he scowls, tone soaked in hatred. You’re lost for words at his cryptic message as you realize he’s waiting for you to engage.

“Who?”

“I deserve power. I’m the strongest now.” The seething contempt your master radiates is almost palpable. He pauses, then crooks his neck to half-face you. “Right?”

“Of - of course, Doffy,” you stutter. Your use of the nickname feels uncomfortably forced, but it would certainly be worse to disobey his preference. After a moment of contemplative silence, he waltzes out of the room, turning to send you what seems to be a thoughtful glance.

Your contemplative book dusting is soon interrupted by one of the kitchen servants. “We need someone to deliver Dellinger’s breakfast,” he says, holding a tray of decadent pastries.

You groan. Dellinger always has a bitchy headache-inducing attitude with servants. “Why can’t you do it?”

“Kitchen’s all backed up and I have to get back to work.” Your coworker sounds exhausted, so you comply with no further complaint.

Dellinger is posing in front of a mirror in his stupid blue spandex when you enter. “Finally! Took you long enough.”

You parrot your compulsory reply, “Can I get you anything else?”

“how was the dick?”

You’re taken aback by his sudden vulgarity, and you’re sure the confusion is clear in your facial expression. “What?”

“No way Doffy didn’t fuck you after that pool party,” he laughs.

Disturbed by the implication of Dellinger’s assumption, you turn to leave the room. From down the hall you hear him call, “It’s only a matter of time!”

You try to talk yourself out of your anxiety. Dellinger just likes to scare people, you think. Doflamingo seems to have some semblance of respect for me, he would never do that. But no amount of cognitive dissonance can change the fact that the young master is a depraved and sadistic freak who acts on every whim.
