Film: What can I say. Haneke is a genius. Makes bleakness into high art. Most people who I've ever watched a Haneke film with never want to watch another Haneke film. So I sit and watch alone.

Sebastian Patrick Moran, as written by @pasiphile, who took my heart, dunked it in acid, ran it through a meat grinder, and made a bonfire of the remains; and by @greenfaeriefeverdream, who helped me carefully glue it back together.
Place: Ohh, that's a difficult one. There are so many beautiful places in the world, and I've been so lucky to see so many, and even live in one of the best.
Okay, let's go for the most spectacular one - the Darvaza gas crater in Turkmenistan.
In 1971, the Soviets were drilling for gas in the Karakum Desert when the ground collapsed under them, creating a 230-foot diameter crater from which gas leaked.
An engineer lit the fumes to burn them off, figuring it would burn out in a week or two.
It's still burning.
Season: Summer! I love heat and dryness and sunshine and sea (my skin doesn't but that's what sunscreen and clothing are for).
Album: That's like choosing a favourite child! If I have to choose, Fear of a Blank Planet by Porcupine Tree.
Food: Dutch snack bar food. Double-fried chips with a million sauces, waste meat processed in hundreds of appetizing ways - I love it.
