Part 2: The Perfect Disappearing Act

When Delta attacked, the world saw Hoskins die. The asset was neutralized. But for the real Hoskins, this was the ultimate jackpot. With Jurassic World completely destroyed and InGen facing total legal and financial annihilation, the real Hoskins suddenly had the perfect cover: he was legally dead. Part 3: The Malta Connection

Now, let's fast forward to Dominion. Remember the black-market dinosaur smuggler, Soyona Santos, operating out of Malta? She managed to do exactly what Hoskins always dreamed of: she commanded four hyper-lethal Atrociraptors (Ghost, Red, Tiger, and Panthera) trained to aggressively hunt down whatever is painted by a red laser pointer. How did a black-market smuggler figure out the exact behavioral modification needed to turn raptors into targeted biological weapons?

The Missing Link: Owen Grady’s IBRIS video logs were highly classified park property. They detailed exactly how he imprinted on the raptors from infancy, showing that true compliance had to be nurtured from birth.

The Transaction: The real, surviving Hoskins needed massive capital to fund his rogue, underground operations. He packaged Owen's infant training data and sold it to Santos' smuggling ring for a massive payout.

The Result: Santos took Owen’s foundational research, completely stripped out the empathy, and replaced it with a cruel, mechanical laser-targeting system.

Don't ever forget that. Second. Blue and Beta. [He stands up, paces a little, you can hear crickets. He does his hand thing without thinking, that open palm raptor calming motion] You gotta let them be wild, Maisie. I know you want to protect them by keeping them close. That won't work. Not for her. One, never separate them. Beta stays with Blue. Always. Beta is still learning how to be a predator, how to be part of a pack. Blue is the only teacher she's got. Maisie Lockwood stood at the makeshift podium she was exactly what Owen had predicted in that video: taller, stronger In her right hand, her thumb rested on the worn, metal edge of Owen’s old, scuffed raptor clicker. She shifted her weight, looking out at Claire, at Alan and Ellie, and the small circle of people who truly understood what Owen had given "Owen always thought he was the one doing the teaching," Maisie began, a small, sad smile tugging at the corner of her mouth. She looked down at the clicker, her thumb tracing the groove he’d worn into it over decades. "He left me a video. A final talk, because he knew I’d argue with him if he tried to tell me in person. And in it, he told me that I wasn't what a lab made me. He said I was who I chose to be. 'You chose us. We chose you. That's family. Don't ever forget that.'"

She paused, looking directly at Claire, stepping slightly out from behind the wooden podium "He spent his whole life trying to manage the unmanageable. But his real gift wasn't controlling dinosaurs. It was understanding freedom. He gave me mine. And he made sure I knew how to protect the freedom of the only others out there like us." Maisie raised her left hand, unconsciously flattening her palm—the exact open-palm gesture Owen used to anchor a raptor's focus. She caught herself, a sudden, breathless laugh escaping her lips, and dropped her hand back to her side. "He gave me strict orders about Blue and Beta. He made me promise: No cages. No fences. Not even the nice barn we built. He told me Blue doesn't belong in a world with walls—she belongs up here, moving. He reminded me that Beta needs her mother to learn how to be a predator, how to be part of a pack. 'If you separate them, you break them both,' he said."

She took a slow, deep breath, her eyes scanning the dense tree line "He warned me about the suits, the labs, the people who see a miracle and only think of a payday. He told me to check them for trackers every month. And he left me this."

Maisie pulled the scuffed clicker from her pocket, holding it up so the weak sunlight caught the scratched metal.

She stepped away from the podium entirely now, walking to the very edge of the clearing where the gravel met the wild grass. She looked up at the vast, open sky, the clicker gripped tightly in her fist.

Alan Grant, who, uh, spent his entire professional life studying extinction, which makes this... ironically... on brand John Hammond thought he could package extinction. Sell it. Put it behind glass with a gift shop. Alan knew better. Alan looked at a Velociraptor, an actual living Velociraptor, and his first thought was not 'how do we monetize this,' it was 'you're not what I thought you were, and I respect that.' That was Alan. Alan Grant kept finding a way to live. Until, well, today So what do we learn? That life... life finds a way, yes, but eventually, life also finds an end. That's not cynical. That's beautiful. Lex Murphy - Lex would be the one who makes everyone cry without trying to sound profound - Hi. I'm Lex. A lot of you probably don't know me. I was one of the kids he rescued from the island. He told us to be quiet and to hold still and he held the door I was a vegetarian then because of him, actually. He was so respectful of the animals, even the ones trying to eat us. He taught me that you can be in awe of something and still understand it wants to kill you. Which, now that I'm older, feels like pretty good life advice

Tim Murphy - Dr. Grant was like, the most famous person in the world to me On Nublar, everyone kept asking if we were scared. We were. I was so scared I couldn't hear. But Dr. Grant never lied to us He taught me that dinosaurs weren't monsters. They were animals. And animals deserve respect, not just awe. People do too

Eric Kirby - he would give the shortest speech because he is the one who knows what it is like to be truly alone on one of those islands - I knew Dr. Grant About a day When I got stuck on Sorna I had his book. I read it a lot. It made me feel less alone. I thought if I could be smart like him, I could live long enough for someone to come he didn't treat me like the kid you had to rescue. You treated me like the person who had already rescued himself he got me off that island

Owen Grady - would be the guy standing a little off to the side in a jacket that is not quite a suit, holding his hat in his hands, feeling like he shouldn't be up there “Most of you knew Dr. Grant a lot longer than I did. I grew up reading about him Then I actually met him, which was weird, because I train raptors and he is, was, the guy who wrote the book on raptors. Literally. I thought he'd think what I do is kind of a circus Last year Maisie Beta, Blue's baby were taken He helped saved all of us, because he reminded us that rescue is not about dominating nature”

Claire Dearing - Dr. Grant and I did not know each other well, but he knew me. Before we ever met, he knew exactly who I was. I was the next John Hammond. I was the person who looked at his life's work When Owen and I went to get Maisie and Beta back from Biosyn, Alan came with us. He didn't have to. He had no connection to that baby raptor, to that girl, except that they needed help. He stood in a lab full of locusts and genetic miracles and horrors, and he kept bringing the conversation back and I promise you, Dr. Grant, that we will not make the same mistake a third time. We will protect what we have, we will not own it”

Yeah it’s supposed to help but what about people who own lots of outdoor pets or plants and in this heat how are people supposed to carry watering cans across the gardens

So i have 17 Guinea pigs and 1 rabbit

So 2 medium sized troughs for Guinea pigs one on the lawn and one the other side of the garden in the boys pen and a washing up bowl of water for rabbit it takes 4 full watering cans to comfortably fill both troughs and the rabbit’s bowl and in this heat me and my family nearly feel faint after completing watering the garden plants which takes 70 full watering cans

When we use a hose it takes about 30 minutes when with a watering can it take 1 hour 43 minutes

7) Consoles stay in the living room: Consoles stay in the living room. Not tucked away upstairs. And we have a timer on it, say an hour, ninety minutes each, fair shares

8) WiFi goes off at 9:00 PM sharp: Not to be strict, just because sleep matters

9) Four chores each: Everyone does their bit. Four chores each, shared fairly, so it is teamwork. You dodge one, you tell me why, and yeah, there will be a consequence, maybe less time on that phone. 11) Absolute zero tolerance for cruelty: if you ever, ever made fun of someone because of a disability, physical or otherwise, I would be so disappointed. You would apologise immediately, properly, and then we would sit and reflect for a good couple of hours about why that is never okay. And you'd be grounded for a couple of weeks an' all

12) laws: If it's minor, and you break it, you explain to me why you thought it was okay in the moment, and you pay the fine yourself. You own it. If it's major... then you face the real consequences, love. Not me shouting. The police, the proper system. It might mean a night in a cell. It might mean a lot more. And I would be there for you, but I would not get you out of learning personal responsibility

**[0:00 - 0:10] THE STATUS QUO**

* **VISUAL:** Open on a sweeping drone shot of a dense, misty forest at twilight. We see **DARIUS BOWMAN** crouching in the brush, holding a high-tech tracking device. In the background, a majestic Brachiosaurus lets out a low, peaceful rumble.

* **AUDIO:** Low, atmospheric synth music playing. The familiar, comforting notes of the Jurassic theme teased softly on a piano.

* **DARIUS (V.O.):** "We thought we knew the rules. We thought we knew every trick in the book to keep these animals safe..."

**[0:10 - 0:22] THE ESCALATION**

* **VISUAL:** Smash cut to a chaotic montage. An off-road vehicle flipping over in the mud. A Baryonyx snapping its jaws dangerously close to the camera. **BEN** and **YAZ** diving behind a fallen log as a flock of Pteranodons screeches overhead.

* **AUDIO:** *SFX: A massive metallic CLANG.* The music instantly shifts—heavy, rhythmic cinematic percussion hits.

* **DARIUS (V.O.):** "...but out here? Things can get out of control very, very quickly."

**[0:22 - 0:40] THE MISSION & THE THREAT**

* **VISUAL:** Cut to the interior of a dimly lit hideout. A digital map glows on a monitor, tracking two blinking red signals. **BROOKLYNN** stands over the console, looking determined but exhausted. She turns to the rest of the pack.

* **BROOKLYNN:** "We’re running out of time. If we don't find my dads now, the people hunting us will find them first."

* **VISUAL:** Rapid cuts of mysterious mercenaries wearing high-tech night-vision gear, unloading massive, reinforced containment crates from a cargo ship. A new, terrifying glowing purple tech is seen pulsing on the dinosaur collars.

* **SAYID / BROOKLYNN (V.O.):** "To beat them, we’re going to need a little... *Dark Jurassic* power."

**[0:40 - 0:55] THE STAKES**

* **VISUAL:** **KENJI** punches a wall in frustration, then looks at Darius.

* **KENJI:** "You know what happens if we fail, right? Look at the tracking data. They're routing everything back to where this all started."

* **VISUAL:** A satellite map zooms out rapidly, revealing a notorious, isolated landmass surrounded by fog. The words **MANTAH CORP ISLAND** flash on screen in warning red text.

* **BEN (panicked):** "No way. I am *not* going back there!"

* **AUDIO:** The music swells into a massive, driving action beat.

* *ACT SHARP.* (Clip: Sammy rewiring a security panel under heavy attack from BRADS while Kenji covers her.)

* *KEEP YOUR COOL.* (Clip: Darius standing completely still, eye-to-eye with a massive, cybernetically enhanced Carnotaurus, holding his hand up.)

* **VISUAL:** Fade to black.

* **AUDIO:** Total silence, except for the heavy, terrifying breathing of an unseen apex predator. Suddenly, a massive reptilian eye snaps open in the dark, glowing with an unnatural bio-luminescent tint.

* **SFX:** *Massive T-Rex roar echoing out.*
