i mean they’re not exactly emotionally stable to begin with, plus who’s to say their relationship at the time is, but if need be they’d probably force it and create a fucking monster.

the wires would be the elders like at all parts of the song where it references wires its like an allusion to him being puppeted by them and heres the big part the part that really makes me think of them

there’s very little doubt that hanzo didn’t know that the elders would get fed up with genji, i mean he grew up under them after all, so ‘he told me i should take it in, listen to every word he’s speaking’ would be like... hanzo warning him? or trying to make him start acting like they want him to

obviously since ‘the wires’ are still the elders ‘the wires getting older i can hear the way they’re creaking as they’re holding him’ would be genji commenting upon how he’s being controlled and also how the elders aren’t a Forever thing

well, i could see it in his jaw, that all he ever wanted was a job,

hanzo was groomed to be the next leader of the shimada-gumi and im pretty sure he grew expectant of his duties
