Send đ to get really bad advice from my muse
Bonus points for also giving a topic.
âAh, math. I remember when I enjoyed math.â Math, loads of fun. Now overtaken by various vocational tidbits.
This is Taiki, asks are being weird. The outsider straggles along the shrine grounds, a bit embarrassed with what he has to ask. "I do not know how, but how does this... prayer work?"
âOffer some money, ring the bell, bow twice, then clap your hands twice. Offer a moment of silence, then after a minute, clap one last time.â
See, he might be jotting this down. Matters of faith are wholly alien to him, and what matters he does emulate, he does so in an alien manner.
âA minute now, yes, and then one more clap? So that is to be three in total, no?â Youâve got to give him credit for doing his research beforehand. Maybe now his pilgrimages can be more orthodox rather than just depositing money and absconding. âI am a little surprised with how... different it is.â

YOU WOUND ME, HONORABLE COMPANION
how does my muse act, consciously and/or subconsciously, around people they are romantically interested in?
Honestly? Heâd be nervous, maybe somewhat distant for a time. Heâd come around eventually, but he has a great deal of fear in the subject

Worry not, the good smith has never considered the thought of a Tsukumogami born of a sword.
âWhy wouldnât you consider the thoughts of sword tsukumogami? We have lots to say just like any other kind of tsukumogami. Like I bet that sake I saw on my walk tastes really good I wonder if they would notice if I had some!âÂ
outsidersmithâ:
Taiki himself was no better if you include the complications. He was spirited away around two years prior, but only recently stuck his head out. With a hammer in hand, and what little Japanese he knows, he can show himself to be quite the headache for the human village.
âI do not know much about it. People say it is trick, they lose money or like that.â heâd claim, trying to recall just what it was they said. Honestly, to him, he just assumes it wasnât a good gathering, and they just wanted their money back.
âOh Iâve heard that before. People from Museums say that sometimes. Wastes of money or whatâs the point in just old junk? I donât like those people,â she said with a nod. Sheâd mostly compare the actions of humans through the lens of museum goers as that was the kind of human she had the most experience with. âWell if I find any of those tsukumogami iâll be sure to ask them and get all the details! Well probably not all the details, but enough details!â she said proudly puffing her chest out a bit as though it was praiseworthy.
Ah, a museum. What he wouldnât give for a classical visit like that. Family memories. Followed by family regrets, as he carries a little smile that reverses. But to hear people just so idly dismiss good things just because theyâre old? Said frown is accented with crossed arms.
âI do not like people like that.â he states, matter-of-factly. Maybe itâs due to living in a world that hasnât progressed passed or even fell back into the Edo period, âThere is no junk, only treasure.â
Yet there was still the nature of the youkai before him, the outsider shifting his weight, resting on his cane with a small smile of the tsukumogamiâs passion, âYou must forgive me, but I am new to the... tsukumogami thing. From you, I can see they can be good though.â Very impressionable. Itâll likely get him hurt, or worse.
honorablejournalism started following you
What an interesting meeting, another tengu! Though this one seems more reputable than a previous client, clear to all by a professional air around the spirit reporter.
Heâd hope this youkai was to be a client, or at least someone friendly without having to be overbearing about their hunger. Sheâd get a friendly wave, and an envious look at those wings she has.
âGood day to you.â
Professional was probably a stretch, but dang it she was trying. Maybe after some food and a good drink it would be in full force. But right now-
âGood day to you too, sir! Are you, like, some kind of blacksmith? Whatâs your specialty in that regard? How often do you, like, have customers in here? How many are regulars?â -this. This right now.
That is right, this is happening.
As the outsider is barraged with all kinds of questions, all of varying comprehension, heâd have a hand to his chin as he dived into deep thought.
What kind of blacksmith, âI work with bladeâ, he starts, cleaning up his accent. âHow you say, mainly blade? I take some order for tool, but it is blade I primarily work with.
âCustomer come...â he starts, trying to scrounge together the words. âThey come enough, I am sorry.â Forgive his poor vocabulary, âBut some of them are return, yes. I say that right?â
Ever thought of shifting from the alcohol to something... more interesting? I heard the forest has nice mushrooms.
âA good bottle of sake or shochu cleanses the mind. Mushroom are gross.â
What was your childhood like?
âIt was...â he starts, pausing for a moment. Truth be told that, as he thought about what to say and how to say it, he started to choke up a little. Were a seat nearby, it would immediately be occupied by a sack of bones, conflict, pride, and regret.
âIt started off well, but it got hard. My mother, I do not know the word for it but she got sick. Really sick, it was in her head and it took her quickly. It was a shock for everyone; I took sword classes and worked on my body to take my mind off of it, but only smoking was what help me deal with it. My brother focus more on his work, job to job. My father, he was worse; he just kind of... stopped. Nothing really made him happy since and he too was gone.â
âI joined up with...â he starts, actively forcing these words into a disgusting clump of noise. â...air-force. My brother would be an investigate.â Itâs the closest he would get to his twins profession.

â
a meeting or relationship that was important to them
What mattered most in his old life with someone, it was when his mother passed. An old flame, nothing official but close enough that any jokes wouldnât be too far from the truth.
They were both young, he was grieving and she cared, offered a hand, a shoulder and an ear in a very painful situation. There was an abandoned building he always held up in. For silence, peace of mind, and at the time a good place to smoke and de-stress in secret. A moment that cemented itself in his mind, was when she essentially camped out at the building in her car and was willing to wait all night if need be for him.
Send a đŤand Iâll write four headcanons I have about our museâs relationship

Weaponmaster: Master Sword
It was odd, as Taiki handled and examined a magnificent blade, closer more to a work of art in his eyes. It was nimble, light, and as he ran his fingers over and along with its form he got a firm impression of its strength, or at the very least that as a masterwork, it shall not be found wanting.
He understands that some swordsmen tend to use the scabbard in their offhand as a secondary striker, if not as a type of guard. Due to the ornate nature of this one, itâs a rightful assumption that it was not to serve that purpose.
Amusingly, whatever magic stored in would remain locked more on the part of ignorance of the wielder.
âI need something in my other hand for this. Besides that, it is a good blade. If I can find that thing, I would definitely use this.â
Maybe a shield.
Send âWeaponmasterâ and a weapon
askandrpcenterâ:
My muse will analyze that weapon and say what they like/dislike about it, if they can use it, and if they would use it.
