Are we few who actually like btvs s5-7 more than s1-3? ( s4 is an odd one in between but I love it too )

I’m literally at least 3 months in now… it’s the longest it’s taking me to finish a season of Buffy ( and it’s not like I was super busy not being able to watch either it’s just not exciting for me )

I watched Buffy when is was like 17 to 18 (22 now), I never really liked Angel but it felt almost like a series ending when he left. And it was the end of Buffy's high school era. As a person who was the age Buffy was in season 3 I needed the show to continue, to show me life goes on after high school. And while Riley bored me to death the return of Spike made it worth it. And from season 4 onwards it just got better, the development of Spuffy made it worth it. Now season 6 is my personal favourite. In rewatches I start at "School Hard", skip Bangel scenes, skip season 3 except for "Lovers walk", do some of season 4 (especially "Something Blue"), skip through season 5 until "Fool for Love" and then i watch the rest of Buffy. I love Buffy, I do, but Buffy's romances without Spike are all boring and toxic. Spuffy is also toxic to some level but it's also so entertaining and the greatest sin a show, a fictional relationship, and a character can commit is being boring.

This! Especially in S3 buffy is just taking responsibility for other people reactions/feelings/consequences.

Exactly! People who say everyone is acting ooc in s7 just really don’t want to accept the fact that even their favorite characters can majorly suck ( which scoobies do in s7 a lot but also they do that in all the seasons because they’re human so what’s the point here? )

If you notice there's less lightning bugs around then there was when you were young, you aren't going crazy. Lightning bugs/fireflies are becoming endangered!

Summertime is approaching, prime lightning bug season. Bringing this post back because there's still work to be done! The Xerces Society does more then just protect lightning bugs, but butterflies and bees too!
