Here's an interesting little tidbit. According to several Japanese tweets, "pig feet" can be slang for "guns". This would explain the number of fanworks I've seen that give Kokichi hoplophobia.

i remember it being on ao3--it was a time loop fic. it was from kaito's pov. i read this fic YEARS ago, so i don't remember much, but i recall this one scene specifically. kaito is in kokichi's room for whatever reason, and there's a number in the corner of one of his whiteboards and kaito asks what it means. i don't really remember how kokichi responded. think it was "what do you think it means, momota-chan?" or something like that. it's later revealed that that kokichi is also in a time loop, but that there's multiple kokichis and kaitos out there? so the kaito in a time loop and the kokichi in a time loop weren't always getting stuck together? i think? i don't know if that made sense or if that was how it happened but if anyone knows what fic i'm talking about PLEASEEEE send me the link i've been frantically searching for it for ages and my mind cannot rest. i stopped being a lurker just to find this stupidly gorgeous fucking fic 💔💔💔💔 thank you
