Otto the Parrotlet

thank you!!! i know these are pretty old questions but he’s fully flighted now! i knew from the get-go that i didn’t want to clip his wings because it seemed mean to me, sort of like declawing a cat? i appreciate this!!

he does not because he’s a horrid little man who would rather yell to the music than dance. he does do the little mating dance thing but is reprimanded for nasty behaviors 

most parrotlets with the same coloration look pretty similar, i’ve had to double take a few times seeing other parrotlets colored like otto because i’m like “hey wait that’s my bird!”

a jungle borb hides in the majestic palm (its bird safe don’t worry :^)

for some reason this is how he sleeps now? he used to sleep inside but now he gotta sleep on top all poofy

he will not bathe in any other way. gotta be IN the water dish. only his head. i’ve tried so hard to get him to take an actual bath but he will not. BIRB WHY.
