Hammond and his change, adaption, and abandonment Cycle, angst thoughts
- The first instance of the cycle would be Hammond's mother and siblings dying due to not surviving the genetic modifications made to them. The genetic modification would be his change, surviving it would be adaption, and death of his mother and siblings would be abandonment.
- The second instance would be living among and with the apes and scientists on the horizon lunar colony. The uprising against the scientists by the apes would be the change, making a mech to survive space till earth would be adaptation, and him thinking Winston leaving him would be abandonment.
- The third instance would be his new life in junkertown, and even becoming champion of tournaments, and at least having a much better happy life. Change would be himself and being more open to the people and community around, adaptation would be his mech getting adapted to the junkers, and nothing of abandonment would occur.
- The forth and current instances would be Mauga coming along over to junkertown to get them on there. Change would the in different surroundings due to the work on the junker mothership, adaption would be Hammond's role as distraction and diversion for MEKA squad, and abandonment would again ensue as it always did.
If I think about it, the only thing that has stayed with Hammond the most part has been his mech, wrecking ball, his safe space.
Side note, if I do make a comic I would like to draw how he views himself in the environments he’s been around. 1st, a baby hamster, 2nd an ape, 3rd, a human, and 4th, going back to a hamster, himself.
