Lowk I wanted to ask I had a really cool fic idea to write for Kyle but I'm also afraid that it won't get much attention since it's an underrated character (I have never written for him before but always wanted to) . The fic idea also has the potential to go further as a series if I maintain my motivation (lol)

I know you draw for him so I just wanted your opinion on whether I should go ahead and do that (I have no one who knows this situation sooo...)

I understand the fear of wondering whether something will get attention or not, especially when you’re putting your time, effort, and heart into creating something.

But in my opinion, if you love Gaz and you have an idea for him, that alone is a good enough reason to write your fic.

I don’t think numbers, notes, or predicted engagement should be what decides whether an idea is worth pursuing or not. Creating for a character should come from love first - because at the end of the day, if the love is there, the work already has a reason to exist.

Of course, getting attention is nice. There’s nothing wrong with wanting something you created to be seen by others. But attention should be a plus, not the motivation.

So to answer your ask: yes, I think you should do it.
