We are delivering the birthday messages to a third party person to give them to Oscar. Last year, we had so many amazing messages for him on his birthday and I hope we can do the same this year. So many of you told him how much he meant to you, and we know it made him smile.

We’ve seen other fandoms do it! We’ve seen people get over $12k for fundraisers. We just want to hit the $4,000 mark for Oscar’s 40th birthday.

It is. It’s affecting all of us. From wild fires to the strongest storms on record, heat waves to flooding to droughts, we are all affected by climate change, and it’s not normal.. It’s caused by us, by fossil fuel emissions and a lack of conservation.

We can help turn the tides by 2030 if we support causes like this. We have 11 years to change our ways before the United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says it could be too late.

Do you have nieces, nephews, kids? Grandkids? Do you want a bright future on a planet that isn’t in peril? Do you hate seeing starving polar bears, and habitats ruined? What about the human lives lost?
