3. Do they have unusual speech patterns?

yknow!! i would've said no reflexively, but thinking it through more, he actually does. not necessarily what i think one would think when hearing "unusual speech pattern." i think one of the main things with Knife is that he just is a really poor communicator and isn't like a words guy he might sometimes say something as though you understand what's going on in his head. he's a one-word answer king and a vague answer king and generally uses the least amount of words possible to get his point across. i wish i could say he's trying but he's not and tbh he couldn't even if he was!! i think that's part of why he vibes with Emps so much right off the bat. to most people the "i have a mind flayer in my head" is so invasive. to Knife it's like, "this guy understands everything i'm trying to say without me having to talk and i can also understand him via direct feelings infusion??? very good"

5. Do they like to sing? Are they good at it?

kind of a terrifying prospect. i'm immediately reminded of the threateningly erotic Tone Loke lizard from ferngully jk, in seriousness, he's not great at singing and isn't inclined to do so. he might hum a little in private. on the other hand, i don't see him as being shy about it if he's singing along with people in public. i see him as neutral/disinclined lol

6. Left handed, right handed, ambidextrous?

predominantly right-handed, but being a dual wielder i think he'd have more capability with his non-dominant hand than an average person!

10. Do they need their hands occupied a lot? If so, what do they do?

not at all! Knife is very still and calm and intentional about how he moves.
