"There was a stranger on the island," Oh Ilnam said, and Inho didn't like his tone. The worst thing was that it all happened during the Game. A game that Ilnam himself participated in. Inho was left in charge, and now Ilnam seems to think he failed.
"I'm sorry. The problem has already been solved. He's not coming back." Inho found the last sentence hard. For some reason, he felt that it was true. He felt that Junho hadn't woken up from his coma yet. He felt that he might never wake up. And that his mother was sitting by his hospital bed and crying.
Inho suddenly wanted to be with them. But that probably won't happen anymore. Not after he took off his mask in front of Junho.
"I think you understand how serious this is," Ilnam said. "Me and the VIPs have to make sure that you don't let this happen again."
Inho swallowed. In the silence that followed, it sounded loud, like in a movie.
He didn't have enough imagination to imagine what kind of punishment the VIPs would come up with (or had already come up with) for him.

The first voice sounded extremely emotional, but Junho didn't understand what kind of emotion it was yet. But he had already remembered what it could be caused by.
"Junho-yah, come with me", a second voice sounded in his head. Painfully familiar, too.
"Junho-yah, can you hear me?"
Junho couldn't find the strength to answer. He couldn't even find the strength to move. Mom, without waiting for an answer, ran out of the room (he already realized that he was in a hospital room) to call the doctor.

Junho knew for sure that the screaming woman was his mother. At the same time, he could barely remember who he was.
