Genuinely this. I will say a lot of people will probably still want yo try and lose weight because of slightly increased risk of complications and doctors over-stressing that due to fat-phobia, but its literally always better to perform a routine surgery than an emergency surgery, especially if someone is actually at increased risk of complications (because if its already an emergency, you may have 2 emergencies happening at once due to complications).
