genuine question: would anybody be interested in a derry girls discord server? i think it’d be a lot of fun to be able to communicate with other fans! :-)

i think the reason the ending of this episode has hit so hard is because, in retrospect, this is the first time we have seen all of the girls express actual, genuine grief. yes, they were sad when james left, but we saw that resolved quickly into a very powerful and positive, hopeful moment. we didn’t see their reactions upon the news of the bombing at the end of season one, only the parents’, and i think that this being the series finale coupled with the first time we are seeing the entire cast (and especially clare) distraught and upset beyond words is making it hit so, SO much harder for me

i hope tomorrow we get some sort of closure and that the decision to end the season that way makes more sense because right now i am all sorts of shocked and upset
