Scientists can now accurately predict if you have the blues just by looking at your Twitter feed

This is ridiculous. Queues for a and e are the highest since 2003. Many patients are left waiting in the ambulance unable to see a doctor, so I’m glad that the healthcare system is piloting 8am-8pm/ 7 days a week gp schemes to reduce the a and e unnecessary intake.

An alternative way to get around town.

In a medical sense this could be big news! In the future patient's nutritional data could be used in conjunction with the 3D printer in order to 'print' the most nutritious beneficial meal for them. 

Especially with the improvements in 3D printing, this is a real possibility in the future of medicine! No more casts that itch and scratch and become an inconvenience. Simply scan your broken limb and make a cast for your exact breakage. This will also reduce the likelihood of a cast misfitting, and reduce unnecessary time at the hospital.   

Almost everyone nowadays has a smartphone. In fact there are more iPhone's being sold every day than babies born! This is a neat little app designed really for the elderly. It reminds you what medication you need to take and when to take it. GP's could write all the relevant information on the patients' smartphone and just let the app do its job.
