I actually really like the term genderqueer, because the only thing it specifies about your gender is that it's queer in some way. Does that mean you're nonbinary? Binary trans? Cis with some freaky cool gender presentation stuff going on? None of those or all of those? It doesn't matter and I think that's beautiful.

5 Tiny Writing Tips That Arenβt Talked About Enough (but work for me)
These are some lowkey underrated tips Iβve seen floating around writing communities β the kind that donβt get flashy attention but seriously changed how I write.
1. Put βhe/she/theyβ at the start of the sentence less often.
Try switching up your sentence rhythm. Instead of
βShe walked to the window,β
try
βThe window creaked open under her touch.β
Keeps it fresh and stops the paragraph from sounding like a checklist.
2. Donβt describe everything β describe what matters.
Instead of listing every detail in a room, pick 2β3 objects that say something.
βA half-drunk mug of tea and a knife on the tableβ
sets a way stronger tone than
βThere was a wooden table, two chairs, and a shelf.β
3. Use beats instead of dialogue tags sometimes.
Instead of:
"I'm fine," she said.
Try:
"I'm fine." She wiped her hands on her skirt.
It helps shows emotion, and movement.
4. Write your first draft like no one will ever read it.
No pressure. No perfection. Just vibes. The point of draft one is to exist. Let it be messy and weird β future you will thank you for at least something to edit.
5. When stuck, ask: βWhatβs the most fun thing that could happen next?β
Not logical. Not realistic. FUN. It doesnβt have to stay β but chasing excitement can blast through writerβs block and give you ideas you actually want to write.
Whatβs a tip that unexpectedly helped with your writing? Let me know!! π

Happy Pride month! π
I know I'm neither the first or last to say it but I am 100% committed to Catch of the Century Adrian. The absolute ideal of Eridian beauty and attractiveness. Gorgeous. Brilliant. Witty. Charming. Fun. Beyonce with multiple Ph.Ds. And absolutely nobody on Erid understands how this utterly average, slightly neurotic engineer bagged them, much less how they resolutely turned away all other suitors when the Blip-A was gone so much longer than planned.
(Although, maybe, once Rocky has saved the stars and brought First Contact home to Erid, people start to understand what Adrian saw in them all this time.)
Smoking on that we'd
I honestly think being intersex is WAY more common than a lot of people realize.
Like, not just 1.7%-2% kind of common. I mean like 10-20% kind of common. That's how common I actually think intersexuality is, especially when I hear all these stories about people who just realized they had vulvar hypospadias, since they thought it was perisex-typical. Or all these people who just realized that PCOS and NCAH are intersex, since they thought those were perisex-typical. Or all these people who are starting to accept that their micropenises are intersex traits instead of feeling ashamed about them. And on and on.
also the trans lenny hc is so underrated i dont think we talk enough about it
