"Our relationship is none of your business, Orsimer.” He spat right back, in the meantime struggling to get to his feet. “You’re just upset I won’t bend over and kiss your green ass. She’ll love me regardless.” With a sneer Kade then brushed himself off as if nothing happened before turning his back to her boldly. “And perhaps in time she’ll see what a savage you are too.” 

"I'm no savage. I've known savages. Real ones. You would have been killed after the first insult." she huffed. "Puh! What a cushy life you must've had."

He shifted to sit on his backside, rubbing at where she’d had a hold on his beard. After sniffling quietly for a few moments Kade looked up to glare at her. “I know enough. I know I wanted you to fucking stay away from me, or else I’ll have you arrested for assault. And don’t think I wont regret it, Sesuna’a friend or not.”

"She's too good for you. Maybe if you had any balls you'd work to change that." she said, glaring right back. 

He hated hated hated himself for the tears that pricked the corners of his eyes, trying to ignore how deeply her words cut— to ignore the ring of truth they held. Kade shut his eyes tightly and grappled on to her wrists, trying to squeeze as hard as he could to make her let go. “F-Fuck you! You don’t know me! Y-You don’t know anything about me! L-Let me go you scum!” 

"And you're such a prize aren't you, you fat smelly FUCK!" She snarled back, but the anger in her face soon faded into a wicked smirk. "I'll bet they love you in Alinor. The perfect golden elves with their looks and their smarts. No tolerance for anything but perfection. Tell me, was it your crippling inadequacy that drove you to drink?"

As the womer spoke, Sesuna could no longer look her in the face. Her hands balled into fists on the fabric of her trousers as she lowered her head. “I wouldn’t have blamed you. I’m sorry. Gods, I’m so sorry. I’ve tried. I’ve told him and told him, but he won’t listen. It’s all so stupid. I’m sorry.”

"You seem like you're used to this. If you ever need someone to have the piss smacked out of him, let me know. I won't charge a thing. Actually, I'll pay you to let me hit him."

Sesuna winced, but she put aside her herb basket to give the newcomer her full attention. “Forgive me, but I don’t know your name. I’m Sesuna. And I’m sorry about Kade. I can only imagine what he’s been saying now.”

"My name is Orakh, and I can tell you what he's been saying. He thinks I'm so stupid I won't know when I'm being insulted, then lies when confronted. He'll probably tell you I assaulted him, but he will never know how hard it was to keep myself from actually harming him."
