⸻ EXPOSITION :::
Once a living legend of the Galtean Alliance, Oracle walked the world of Ivalice over seven centuries ago. In that age, his name carried weight; an Oracle whose deeds inspired epics, stage plays, and songs whispered across nations. History, however, is a cruel archivist. Over time, his legacy eroded, surviving only as fractured myths and half-remembered fairytales.
In the year of 706 Old Valendia, the Oracle was awakened from a Galtean sarcophagus beneath the Sochen Cave Palace, and was brought into the Empire’s grasp. Oracle's perspective, his specific familiarity with the long view of things, secured him a place as Imperial Intuitor to Lord Vayne. Yet, having witnessed the Empire firsthand, Oracle deems it rotten at its core; disillusioned, yet still unchanged at heart. Oracle Kien comes from the past, and belongs in the present.
