Oracles and Mysteries

“I thought so… Are you okay? Did he hurt you?” Instead of angry, Elijah was more concerned. Of course he’d be upset later, but for now he just wanted to make sure Kavi was unhurt. If he was hurt, he wanted to tend to it right away. 

✦ ✧     “M’ fine! ‘E din’ ‘urt me.” Kavi said with a grin, at least this time his brother hadn’t meant harm. Then again, he hadn’t given him reason to yet. “Ye wan’ ta check ‘n make sure?” The ginger teased, leaning a bit closer to the brunette.

     And he did not. Stopped in his own tracks, and spoke quickly.     “Kissing is odd for me. I refuse to do such a thing for my own reasons.” He crossed his arms and looked back at the other.     “And you are no more than one who happily lings around such affection with no second thought, hm?” He did  not attempt to sound offended in any way, but his tone sounded a bit different from nice and calm. It was surely since he was still a flustered mess from such a surprise. 

✦ ✧     He was relieved when the blond stopped, luckily he hadn’t seemed to upset him too terribly. “Lo’s o’ people seem ta be tha’ way. I jus’ seem ta forge’ tha’ now ‘n then.”     Kavi simply shrugged. “Never ‘ad a reason ta think of i’ as somethin’ special. ‘Specially when ‘e’s always done wha’ever ‘e wan’s ta me. Bu’ I’ll try ta remember tha’ ‘s no’ the same for ye.”

     And with that said Virus’s blush deepened more, making the replica cover his face with his board. He nodded his head slowly at the mention of the blanket, hopefully it was fluffy or at least soft. Virus had a guilty pleasure of such things and would gladly curl up in a comfortable blanket. He slowly followed Kavi around.

✦ ✧    His smile only widened at his reaction, crossing the small hut to where the blanket sat folded up. A gift from a friend, it was soft. Taking it up into his arms, Kavi brought it over to Virus. “ ‘ee think this’ll do? ‘f no’, I can ge’ comfortable grasses for ‘ee ta sleep on ‘s well.”

“Is that so…? You didn’t go anywhere?” Elijah tugged on his arm to make him bend forward a bit. “Or see anyone?” Even if he didn’t go see his brother, Elijah still felt as though he should get rid of him for hurting Kavi so much.

✦ ✧    “I may ‘ave gone ta th’ dream world . . . an’ may ‘ave seen m’ brother . . .” Kavi rubbed the back of his head nervously. It seemed Elijah was opposed to him seeing his brother, but he wasn’t sure why. Yes, he occasionally hurt the ginger, but he was still his brother.

“I did. Were you really just sleeping?” He better not have gone to see his brother. Elijah is just going to cling to his prosthetic arm for a while.

✦ ✧   “ ‘Course I was jus’ sleepin’!” By sleeping he of course meant spending time with his brother in the dream world. There they could see each other, even if they were separated by land.

→ “Glad we can agree on the same thing.” Of course it’s impossible to predict the exact future of anyone, Giratina was no fool on that matter. “I don’t thnk I know fully how does this work, so you’ll have to teach me and whatnot. How about we start with the relationship one? I’m more curious about that than the general reading for some reason.”

✦ ✧    Kavi gave a small nod. He’d usually make a customer pay for his services, but then again, he often slipped up and gave readings and recipes away for free. Human money was nice to have, but it wasn’t important to him. “Are ‘ee in a relationship, or seekin’ one?” The ginger asked as he withdrew a deck of tarot cards from his sleeve. “Shuffle th’ deck ‘till ‘ee think s’ done. Then cu’ i’, th’ whole while thinkin’ of yer relationship.”

     Virus blinked when the other gave him a quick kiss on the lips, processing mostly what had just happened. Slowly he rubbed his bottom lip with his fingers and blushed a crimson red. He entered the other’s home and set the small dolls of themselves onto a table - of course making sure they were holding hands.

✦ ✧    “ ‘Ee ‘re cu’e when ‘ee blush.” Kavi chuckled, as he followed him in. Taking off his coat, he set it beside the large trunk. “S’ no’ the mos’ comfortable place ta sleep . . . but I ‘ave a blanke’ we can sleep on.” Sleeping on the ground or on Stunfisk had never really bothered the witchdoctor before, but he wasn’t sure his guest would feel the same.

→ “Hm, let’s say something general, you know, the future, the fortune, things like that. To my knowledge, you’d need to use the tarot cards for that, eh?” He smirked. This should be really fun to know, since Giratina is well aware is future is ‘fixed’ in place, meaning it won’t change much besides his relationships. “Oh, and relationships will work too. Tell me what’cha got.”

✦ ✧     “ ‘Ee should know tha’ one canno’ accuratly predic’ th’ future. Anything can change a’ any time.” He chuckled softly and shook his head. “ Tarot an’ Oracle ‘ave few differences. ‘Ee wan’ two readins’ then? One fer th’ general an’ one fer th’ relationships? Each ‘as a differen’ spread. I need ta know which ta use.”

     Virus blushed and smiled at the kiss, before nodding his head. He was truly happy at the moment and it was showing. Reaching down he grabbed the other’s hand as he found more comfort in that, he stood on his toes to kiss the other’s cheek when they stopped at the door of the hut for Kavi to open.

✦ ✧     “I’m glad I can make ‘ee happy. ‘Ee showed me tha’ I can be happy too.” He smiled at the kiss on his cheek and leaned down to give him a small peck on the lips before holding the door open for him. The pokemon that usually dwell within had all gone out by now.

→ “Well, you already said you can talk to Pokemon, so I suppose that doesn’t count much.” He said. It was the other thing that caught his attention. Readings? Well, he is a witch doctor, but it made the devil curious. Giratina believes fate has to happen, yet one can control the outcome of their lives and changing the future with it, which makes predicaments about the future rather pointless. “You can do readings? I want to try that out.”

✦ ✧     “ S’pose I di’ say tha’.” He chuckled, though he wasn’t exactly sure what his skills were. “ ‘ee wan’ a readin’?” Kavi only grinned wide, it had been some time since he had received a request for a reading. “Do ‘ee wan’ ‘n oracle readin’ or a tarot? An’ do ‘ee wan’ a general readin’ or a situation er relationship?”

     Virus happily linked arms with Kavi’s and pressed up close to him as they walked. He couldn’t pull his smile off his face after all he was having a wonderful day and he was sure it couldn’t get better than this feelings of happiness he was experiencing at the moment. He kept hold onto his crown, especially keeping an eye on the tulip, seeing his new found love of the flower.

✦ ✧    Violet hues watched Virus contently. He felt a way he hadn’t felt in years, feelings he had forgotten about. The ginger leaned over and placed a gentle kiss on his head as they neared the hut. Kavi was happy that he seemed to enjoy the flower crown and took his confession well. “ ‘Ee are happy Virus?” 

→ Giratina let out a sigh at this point, swaying his hand. “Look, that doesn’t really matter anymore, does it?” He paused, analyzing the guy’s appearance once again. “If you’re a witch doctor, what can you do? Be specific in that kind of stuff.” At this point, the devil folded his arms across his chest, his weight leaning slightly on one side to his leg. “If I find you humdrum, I’ll just kill you or something.”

✦ ✧     What could he do? Now there was an interesting question. He wasn’t even entirely sure himself. The threat of murder didn’t particularly scare him. Raising a skeletal prosthetic to his chin for a moment he thought before answering. “ ‘Can manipula’ th’ surroundin’s an’ people a’ will. ‘specially with dolls. An’ I can make herbal remedies an’ such an’ do readin’s. ‘Can talk ta pokemon too.”

     Virus smiled happily, and kissed Kavi’s cheek as a token of his gratitude before adjusting the flower crown on his head. Gathering the dolls and his things, he slowly stood up and dusted off his small robe before offering his hand to help Kavi up. Though at the offer, he was definitely going to use it to his advantage - he just hopes he won’t annoy the other.

✦ ✧      He more than willingly took Virus’ hand as assistance to stand. It would be nice to have another in the hut, it often got lonely. The ginger adjusted his own flower crown, making sure it was properly in place upon his head before leading him back towards the hut. He would be sure to offer Virus the blanket he had received as a gift, it would certainly see use so long as he had a guest.

    “ Ah, I apologize, but no. I…I did not mean to seem like I did, if I had. I just….er.”   He scratches the back of his head. Non, how terrible it would be if he did.     “ I…I apologize, I believe I must leave now.” Siebold knew that the other would know that was a lie, but it did not matter, just an excuse to turn away from the other for at least a second or more, and maybe the situation forever.

✦ ✧     “Oh.” He said simply in response, his eyes slowly closing as his head turnted to the ground. “ ‘E was righ’ then.” A less than gleeful chuckle.      “ ‘Ee don’ need ta apologize.  I won’ do tha’ again. Don’ worry.” He watched Siebold, curious as to why he was leaving. Was it really that unfavorable to kiss him? his intent hadn’t been to scare the other away. “ ‘E don’ ‘ave ta go.”
