Seen a lot of hate lately on the use of unconventional and "cringey" euphemisms in smut. I think that using simple words to refer to the genitalia does the job best most of the time, but here's the thing. I love it when the specific words for sexual acts, genitalia, etc. also fit the character whose POV the fic is written from. Like, sometimes it makes sense and adds immersion to use crude, weird or more juvenile wording (like calling the penis "his thing"). Characters can also have a preference to avoid the big words or to describe what happens in bed in a very poetic way. It's really fun to play around with.
