“I’m afraid I won’t be able to take your word on that – I’ll have to see it for myself.” She grinned, winking. “I know a few places, luckily they’re in walking distance of each other. Watch out, beautiful. I might like that.”

“...Maybe I’ll have to take you to a fight, one night, then.” Ophelia grinned, not having talked--well, to be honest--flirted with anyone in a long while.  “But I’ll make sure to pick a weak one, can’t have myself losing in front of you, now could I?” As she spoke of the few places, Ophelia shrugged and followed after her.  “Ooh, Kinky, I might like that.” She laughed, somewhat at how cheesy she sounded.

“Your job is to take punches to the face? I’m impressed – maybe a little turned on.” She teased, shrugging as she fell into step beside the taller woman. “I don’t wear them often, but I haven’t been graced with legs like yours. Mine need a little help.”

“Well I like to think I dole them out more than I take them but..--” she smirked, mischief clear on her face.  “Now, I have to admit, I don’t do much of my drinking here in town.  Suggestions?--And I’ll do some more punching if you dare insult those pieces of art one more time, kapeesh?”

“Either way could work in our favor. Sounds perfect. –Don’t miss me too much,” Devyn changed into her initial attire before stepping of the dressing room. “It’s rough, but I have some heels in my car that’ll pull it all together.”

Giving the woman an appreciative glance as she stepped out sans german barmaid outfit, Ophelia grimaced at the word heels.  “I honestly have no idea how you do it.  I get punched in the face for a living and I still can’t bear heels.”

“Feels neither good nor bad.  I can endure a taste of my own medicine.– Well, that just means your hair looks better natural, which most women would be very envious of.” 

“I bet if you had enough money, you could pay someone to do it.  Some people are willing to do anything for a little extra cash.” 

“I think you’re the first.--...I like you, I think I’m going to keep you.”

“Um–no? I just like to make sure that if I’m going to spend hours on my hair that it’s going to stay throughout the day.”

“Well, love, it sort of looks like it.--But I understand the struggle, if I want my hair to do anything other than just lay on my head I go through at least one bottle of hairspray.--But hours, seriously?”

“No lie there,” Cierin agreed, eying her coworker that had been talking to the woman for sometime. “But, unfortunately, he has some bricks to finish laying.” She nodded her head in the construction site’s direction, watching the guy nod and cart himself off. “Sorry to interrupt,” she said, an apologetic smile crossing her lips when her gaze returned to the woman, “I gotta’ get my lunch break or else I get ridiculously cranky, amirite or amirite?”

Ophelia couldn’t help but snicker at the the woman’s comments, and in a lame attempt to hide her smile, she turned away from the man she had been talking to, her eyes landing on the person she assumed had spoken.  She watched partially in amusement while also being somewhat impressed with how quickly the man followed her orders.  “Please, don’t, I’m practically a specialist in interrupting conversations.--That’s me and my coffee.  Without it, I’m the saltiest cunt you’ll ever meet.” she grinned, before sticking out her hand.  “I’m Opie.”

“Hey, you, leave my hair alone, it’s had a hard life okay, Opie?”

“Knox, you have straight white boy hair, shut the fuck up.”

“Ugh, stop. Do you know how hard it is to keep curls in my hair? Really hard. So extra hairspray keeps them in tact, thank you very much.” She swatted the other female’s hands away, her lips pursing into a small pout. “You’re goingt o mess them up.”

“Honey--” the older female laughed, delicately withdrawing her hands.  “A nuclear bomb couldn’t mess those babies up.”

“Who knows how many free drinks I’ll be able to pull out of guys, though. But you’re right–I’ll get changed. How about you call a cab in the meantime?”

“We’d either pull in some free drinks or they’d think you were the one delivering them.--Sounds like a plan, darling.  I’ll see you and your long-ass legs back out here in 10?”
