Happy Lammas, friends! Wishing you a long, fruitful growing season in your life, and a plentiful harvest. I'm baking a loaf of bread today to celebrate the start of the harvest, and here's my altar dressed for the season xx

Has anyone considered this, I'm sure they have, but a little space for your inner child on the altar with trinkets your inner child would like and their own candle with favorite colors at the time. And I don't mean in the means of worship, of course, but an exercise of healing and being like: hey, I see you, always have seen you, I hear you, and you were a kid.
I've thought about it recently because my traumas come from childhood and I've often kind of ignored that side of myself. She's shown up in tiny ways recently with my Strawberry Shortcake obsession. But I don't know, I think this idea came from my internal thought process with Apollo, on healing and where that starts.
This is such a beautiful idea đ

I keep drawing and drawing maybe it's a way of avoiding myself, maybe it's something like a celebration. Could be both. Lots to learn

Happy Summer Solstice! It's 9.24am on the 21st June and at this moment in the UK we're tilted as much as we can be towards the sun. Where I live we'll have about 16 ÂŊ hours between sunrise and sunset today.
I had surgery a couple of days ago and I'm waiting for some test results, and life has felt quite heavy and challenging this week. So I'm going to do a bit of leaning into the light today. I'm going to have a day where I do no work or tasks and instead I'm going to make sure I spend some time amongst flowers and trees, encouraging my mind and body to recuperate for a while. I'm wishing you all some respite from your cares and tasks, and if needed, perhaps to feel a little lighter in your heart xx
Here's my altar dressed for the day.
