He said he had "good skates" in his week of training with Will & Mack (2 hours a day for 5 days)

A big group of guys joined them from all over (NY, Toronto, Boston, etc)

Mentioned several of the guys (him included) are going back to San Jose earlier than normal to train & start skating with each other/the new guys. He said August but not when, I imagine very soon

He'll be living alone in a 2-bedroom

Treated himself to new golf clubs when he signed his contract

Likes to challenge himself during the off-season. He's continuing to work on his penalty kill & wants to get faster on playmaking
