Recording at Sear Sound Studio C with Jo Lawry and Sting - trying out the Slate Digital VMS against the real 251 - 1073 combo. Impressed - in fact, in the mix I wound up using the VMS FG800m via the v76 emulation instead as it did sound nicer than the real 251 on him.  C12 through one of their custom Avalon M3 console pres for Jo’s vocal chain.

Recording a piece for 3 triangles for Ryuichi Sakamoto at Germano Studios. (Over)mic'd with a pair of DPA 4011s in XY, pair of Blue Omni Mice as wides, overhead stereo Mesanovic 2S, and a pair of AEA44s behind them (will be mixed in 5.1) + three c414s as close mics.
