Speaking of, we’ve got maybe 10 minutes before we start turning back, and it’s honestly just as painful as the first time. Imagine all of your bones and muscles tearing, breaking, and rearranging themselves. Because that’s what it feels like, and what it is." Celeste’s peridot green eyes glinted in the sunrise light, peering out of the woods.

Mabel groaned and sat on her haunches "Yeah I'm going back to the shack to wait this thing out, I'm not going to walk back when i'm human again" she said in irritation "I've got some spare clothes if you need some" she added as she looked back at Desirae.

Celeste sprinted into the woods, hiding behind a tree and gritting her teeth. They had 15 minutes at best.

"What?" Mabel asked, getting up slowly, she realized she felt a little warmer and a little bit lower to the ground, "You know what? I thing I'm going to go back and get something a little cooler on" she said, she still felt like she would pass out but she decided to go back. "I'll see you later Desirae" she said, stretching out and noticing she had paws. "Oh my god"

Desirae backed off, scampering to leap on top of the cage again.

*HOURS LATER*

Celeste started becoming conscious of her own actions again. It was always a very odd thing; Like waking up, but your body is already alert. “Oh… Everything hurts.” she meowed, glancing over to the east and frowning at the lightening sky. She glanced over at a brown blur in the corner of her eye, panicking. “Mabel? That you?! On my god, what did I do?!” Her ears flattened in distress.

Mabel breathed in sharply, she felt awful, "What happened" She asked, she almost felt like she was going to throw up her whole body was in so much pain. she didn't even want to move a muscle.

Celeste didn’t waste any time in leaping on top of Mabel, pinning her down by the belly fur and digging her claws in. Both of them were likely going to end up in very bad shape. It didn’t help that the rearranging and breaking of bones made wounds bleed more.

Mabel yowled in pain before sinking her teeth into desirae's leg with all her strength, using her back legs to kick at her.

Celeste bounded over to the fish, eating it ravenously and licking the remaining bits of fish off her muzzle. She hissed a bit at the sound of bones cracking, and watched with narrowed eyes as Mabel transformed into a werecat.
