On December 18, 2018, Swing Entertainment posted an official statement on Wanna One’s official fancafe that states that Wanna One’s contract will end on December 31. The official statement is below:

Hello This is Swing Entertainment.

We would like to inform you that Wanna One’s contract will be terminated on December 31st, 2018.

Award ceremonies and official activities after the contract ends will be carried out as originally planned and Wanna One’s last official event will be their final concert in January before disbandment.

Wanna One is very grateful to have been able to show a cool image of the youth of 11 people during this 1.5 years, from August 2017 till now.

All of Swing Entertainment and its staff will do their best to assist Wanna One till the end and will support the members’ new beginnings and activities.

We would like to sincerely thank the many national fans who have loved Wanna One all this time and we hope that you would continue to support and bless Wanna One’s members during the remaining activities and in the future.
