Tales of the Caravan Roadmap
I am developing a voluntary, unpaid medieval steampunk/fantasy storytelling project called Lord of War & Heartache / Tales of the Caravan, and I am looking for adult creative participants aged 18+.
The project includes a travelling performance troupe called The Caravan, where Belly Dance is central to its artistic identity, alongside music, theatre, storytelling, character work, and other forms of performance.
I am especially interested in hearing from belly dancers, but dancers of all styles, voice actors, performers, storytellers, and creative collaborators are also very welcome.
Participation is fully remote. You can take part through video performance, voice acting, character work, scripted scenes, or improvisation. No travel or in-person meetings are required.
This is not an explicit project, but the world contains mature fantasy themes, intrigue, danger, and darker story elements, so it is intended for adults only.
The aim is to treat Belly Dance and other performance traditions with respect, not as a joke, gimmick, or decoration. Contributors would be treated as creative collaborators, not props.
Roles may include dancers, travelling performers, nobles, merchants, rogues, spies, scholars, healers, mages, guards, servants, musicians, side-show performers, and many other fantasy character types.
Anyone curious or interested is welcome to ask questions in the comments or message me privately. I can provide links, role details, scripts, character information, and examples of how participation would work.

The Roadmap of the Project itself:
The Fort Titan arc is nearing its end, with Maximus learning of a vault allegedly connected to the lost Crown of the Tyrant King.
After that, the Caravan leaves Fort Titan, travels onward, and arrives in Garalos, where the dancers are warmly received at the cityβs Cultural Centre.
From there, Maximus begins preparing a heist at Duchess Isabeauβs palace. When the Duchess announces a Grand Ball and seeks entertainment, the Caravanβs belly dancers become the perfect distraction.
The ball and heist unfold over several chapters, but the group returns empty-handed. Maximus concludes that Isabeau never had the Crown after all.
Rather than stopping him, the failure restores his determination.
The search continues, and Maximus will find the Crown, no matter how far he has to travel.
You might be wondering why Iβm giving away the ending. Iβm not. This isnβt the ending. Itβs just the beginning.
Itβs the way you tell the story that matters.
