the ode/the sinecure: unsure if these terms have any real difference, but they are the enemies. their goals seem to be "dumping sludge in the rivers". the envoy (the protagonist) was enslaved by the ode at some point. item descriptions mention "ode'n skytowers" and they use spaceships to travel, so they definitely have some kind of space base

lord synod: either a god or leader of the ode/sinecure. a drunken npc in the hub area jokes that the protagonist looks like lord synod, not a lot of info on him though

the dendria/the dendrit: the world you're in. the dendrit seems to refer to the natives of dendria from before the ode. lady deora is one of them, and is specifically the regent of dendria

the spellsong: some kind of "spell" used by lord synod to silence his opposition and mind control lady deora

mora, sapphene, and iridis: three celestial bodies. mora and sapphene are a binary star system that appear during the day. iridis is a green, ringed moon that appears at night

the dermak undercity: a ruined underground city, currently occupied by the ode and formerly ruled by the fire king, fenn jotar. seems like the dendrit used to live here

the cassid: some kind of opposing or occupying army against the dendrit in the past. fenn jotar slayed the cassid general napo "fair neck" agnes and freed the dendrit people. not sure what this has to do with the current part of the story though

omen beasts: big animal spirits. for some reason the ode hate them and want to kill them

garren rood: deer omen beast worshipped by the dendrit. specifically their patron beast
