Bonnie was waiting on Isaac as he went off to grab them some more snacks. She was minding her own business, watching the movie as she secretly loves a musical. She was distracted by the movie, not noticing someone came to sit beside her as she began singing along to herself a little. “Please don’t tell me you heard me singing,”

An amused smile painted itself across Roxanne’s lips as she caught wind of a familiar voice singing along with the movie. She followed it until she found who it belonged to and decided to sit down next to them. “Maybe a little.” She said with a shrug.”Don’t worry though, it is Grease we’re talkin about. None of us can help ourselves.”

“I have to say, it would be nice to be a part of this, seeing everyone just being in love with one another or getting along with one another, but it’s also kind of weird to be paired with someone you barely know” she thought aloud. “Maybe it’s just the socially awkward person in me, who knows”

“Got paired up with someone you didn’t know? Ouch. But I mean, at least you get a chance to get to know someone new. Look at it this way, would you rather get paired up with someone you already know who’s boring, or someone new and interesting?” 

Things had gotten a bit interesting around Mystic Falls lately, especially with this basket auction going on. All day she’d been watching people walk around with their own customized baskets, some with smiles on their faces, others with blush on their cheeks. It looked pretty fun. She wished that she’d made her own basket but she’d been running low on time. Roxanne let out a little oh when she collided with another person. She smiled when she saw it was Hanna. “No worries.” Roxanne bent down to help pick up what Hanna had dropped. “What’s got you so jumpy today?”

Her eyes narrowed when she heard some kind of commotion nearby. Paying more attention to her senses, she was able to find the source of the loud conversation being had between a few people nearby. Her eyes rolled automatically at the men making vulgar passes at Vilandra. One of the pros of becoming a wolf, super human strength. She wasn’t as afraid walking home alone at night as she used to be. Now if anyone dared to get physical with her, they’d be in for quite a surprise. Taking a step forward, she tripped and immediately looked down to see the laces on her boots had become undone. After bending down to tie them, she rose up only to bump into the girl she’d seen earlier. “Maybe you should take your own advice considering you bumped into me too.” She responded with a smug smirk. 

As the night drew in, Sofia was growing more tired and irritable as the seconds passed. She was trying her best to remain awake, studying the grimoire’s in her grasp, yet, it was proving much harder than expected. She was a newly trained hunter, and with this meant she was a novice in most cases. She wanted to be aware of all possibilities, and this meant investing her time in reading some supernatural related memories and grimoire’s. As she looked up, Sofia noticed she was not alone, slamming the book shut and narrowing her gaze at the individual who stood before her. “Stop being so nosy.” She huffed, keeping them out of their reach. “Do you have nothing better to do?

Roxanne kept her eyes on the unfamiliar dark haired girl in front of her. The book in her possession was something she’d hadn’t seen often and she was intrigued by it. It wasn’t long before she was caught staring which sparked a reaction from Sofia that Roxnne didn’t expect. The unimpressed look remained on her face hearing Sofia’s response. “What? Two people can’t co exist in the same space?” 

Running away from her was hopeless since she was a wolf after all, but Roxanne stopped in her tracks and glared at him. “Is it still gonna be funny when you end up with a black eye?” She asked asked arching an eyebrow. 

Bonnie knew she shouldn’t have been out, especially when Tyler had told her she needed to stay home. He had did something. Had her healed with blood so if people saw a girl who had been in the ICU was up and around, she would be in trouble. But she was really craving snacks. She was trying to reach for one at the top of a shelf and she turned when she heard someone cough. “What? You mind helping me?”

It was somewhat amusing watching the girl trying to get the snack that was placed high up. Roxanne pushed herself off of the wall she was leaning against finally deciding to help her out. “You’re lucky I decided to go with heels instead of sneakers.” She said referencing her shoes. The black four inch combat boots were the only reason she was actually able to reach up and grab what Bonnie wanted. Glancing down at it for a few seconds she extended her arm to hand Bonnie the item. “Here.” 

“Honestly, this town will believe absolutely anything—” She shook her head, reading the report on the alleged animal attacks being resolved. She knew much better than that, for this town had many supernatural being who were as equally responsible as one another. “It wasn’t an animal, that’s for sure.” She closed the paper, throwing it down beside her before moving to grasp the cup of tea in her hand.

“Nope. That would explain the increase of wolfsbane around town. You think they’d be a little mor subtle with all that. But let’s just be happy most of these humans are buying it.” She held her coffee to her lips and took a long sip. The humans getting suspicious would only add to the chaos around town, and chaos was something that no one needed anymore of. “But I wonder how long they’re gonna be able to pull the animal attack story for. I haven’t even been around that long and I’m already getting tired of that.” She wasn’t sure what she was more concerned about, the fact that there was a supernatural around attacking people, or the fact that the town would most likely be taking more serious precautions. “

“Yeah, I’m fine.” Ever since Roxanne’s mother had heard about the animal attacks and the curfew set in place, she began to call her more frequently to check in and see if she was alright. Her father as well. “Yes mom, I promise. And I’ll come up and visit you guys sometime next week.” It made her smile to hear her mother’s voice again. Sensing an interesting energy nearby, she looked up and noticed someone not too far away from her. Roxanne looked them up and down giving them a quick smirk before looking away and getting back to her phone call. “Okay, I love you too. I’ll talk to you s-.” Before she could finish her sentence she felt someone’s lips on her own and froze. She quirked a brow at the other and looked at her phone, locking it and putting it into her pocket once she saw her mother had already hung up the phone. “Call me old fashioned but i usually like to at least know a girls name before we get to that point. You don’t? Something tells me that’s not true.”

“Hey, what do I hear about this 7 pm curfew you had for a while in here?” he asked the nearest person as she was seated at the bar. Perhaps it was dangerous for her to be lurking in a town where the Originals resided now but centuries later, she was tired of running. “That’s not really true, is it?” 

“Unfortunately. It sucked. The animal attacks have been spiking around here.” She answered and threw back a shot that was in a small glass in front of her. It was the closest to drowning her sorrows as she could get ever since a few un wanted memories found their way back into her mind.

Honestly? Cassie still felt somewhat.. Fragile. The events of the night previous had rocked her to the core. If it wasn’t for Noah, she likely wouldn’t have been standing where she was today. The young woman wore something entirely different to her normal attire, in hope of covering the bruises that littered her body. She hoped no one would notice, she really didn’t feel like talking to anyone about how she had almost DIED mere hours before. Cassie hadn’t slept much that night, the dull ache that spread through her entire being was unlike any other she had ever felt before. Of course, magic couldn’t take EVERYTHING away. And of course, there was a price to helping Caleb, she felt silly for ever thinking she could help him. The young witch entered the grill, taking a seat at a table, groaning softly to herself as she then placed her head into her hands. She had been so focused on grabbing a seat, that she hadn’t even noticed the person sitting opposite her in the booth. 

She was mid spoonful when she saw the dark haired girl sit down across from her showing obvious signs of distress. “Hey to you too.” She put her fork down and placed both of her elbows on the table. Roxanne had guessed she was too wrapped up in whatever was going through her mind to notice. “You look like you need a drink.” Little did she know how lucky she was that alcohol and drugs still had some type of affect on her. What Roxanne wouldn’t give to get out of her head for just five minutes.
