“this coffee tastes like dirt” somehow this doesn’t stop him from drinking it. he’s had worse, and he’s not particularly all that present anyway “sorry – what were you saying?”

“This is boring. You’re boring. That’s it.”

“--what’s your deal again?”

“I’m sorry – I wasn’t aware that everyone on Earth was able to just return from the dead. Is that new?”

“Why are you so curious about it?”

“An artificial trash planet has now surpassed this one on the list of ideal places to live. Congratulations, Midgardian’s.” 

“So that’s what’s out there in space? No thanks, I’ll pass.”

“Even in the midst of this chaos people have found the energy to be angry at the idea of a  ‘female Thor’. I fail to understand your world.”

“It’s all fun and games until you’re under 21 and get arrested and put to sleep because they literally don’t know what to do with you. Big oof. Now I’ve got to wear this hat as it’s proven that a plain ball cap the best superhero disguise.”

“That was one hell of a nap you took. You woke up right on time though.” One of his hands tapped down on the rim of her hat, pushing it down an inch on her forehead. “I could get used to you like this. It’s kinda cute.”

“I’m literally not even from this reality and I was arrested ( again ), stuck in jail for twenty-one days and forced to register. I love America.”

“Oh you were at the prison too? I must have passed you on my way out.”
