Felicity Smoak lived for happy endings! She loved to watch them unfold. From a young age she watched weekday soap operas with her Mom, they shipped couples and just knew they would be happy FOREVER - or until next week. Felicity also devoured romance novels! She loved reading how these strong independent women ended up with men who respected and loved them. Seeing all this happy created happy for her.

Felicity’s life was nothing like a romance novel. Her parents split when she was eight, her father abruptly leaving. Since then, her mother worked hard to support them both. Felicity earned a full scholarship to Starling University, she hoped maybe she would find romance there.

Outside of romance, Felicity loved computers, something she learned from her father. She loved figuring out how things worked. Computers came easy to her, so she decided on computer science as her major.

Loved your story, it brought back so many beautiful memories, of when I first started to ship Olicity and meeting all my dear friends here on Tumblr. Loved that Felicity got out of her comfort zone And wore the newly cropped top. Of cause, Oliver was going to be bowled over by her beauty, but he would have been more impressed with her strength of character.

I’m having my neighbours and a few friends over for a baked lunch, their all going away on holidays or going to see their families, so My Husband and I will be the masters of their keys and look after their homes and gardens while their away.

I’m hoping, I may have some time to read all the wonderful and amazing stories while their away, every time I think I’m going to have time, it alway seems these day, to be quite the reverse.

So I’m feeling all over the place, yes Arrow is ending, and of course it was inevitable, but in all honesty it feels like it has come in one of the worst moments of my life… 

Do not get me wrong I love Arrow, Olicity, the fandom, and I can not thank everyone enough but I’m going through a lot… which I will divulge fully… 

You Di, are a constant reminder to me, of strength, I know you don’t feel as though you are strong, but! Over the years, you have proven it to me, time and time again. You give me the strength and determination to fight with prayers, to help all those who are so less fortunate than me. We all have our crosses to bear, some more than others, but there is a reason why everything happens, these crosses shape up into the people we are today, be it good or bad, it’s our choice and only our choice to chose which way we want to go.

I have two friends with MS, who are in different stages and are dealing with it very differently, so I do know something about it and how it affects you and everyone around you, I will be praying that you keep your strength and that life does get easier, it’s not just you, but your whole family and friends who will be going on this journey with you. Some days it will be them helping and guiding you, other days it will be you making them stronger.

Di I send you all my love and pray that you get stronger and your courage helps you to keep fighting. Post 7x11 - Oliver and Felicity talk after Felicity discovers that Oliver asks the cop to shoot him. So much angst with a hopeful ending. This is for @memcjo who is always so supportive. Also available on AO3.

Oliver sat on the couch mindlessly flicking through the channels on the TV. He could her Felicity sitting behind him, the click of her fingers on the keyboard providing a comforting sound. He was home.

Felicity was reading through news articles on the events that went down at SCPD. Oliver isn’t very talkative these days, she needed to know what happened. Her eyes scrolled down the words on her screen. Seeing more of the same, a man came in threatening to electrocute everyone, looking for Oliver Queen. Felicity shivered thinking of someone threatening her husband. She looked at the back of his newly shaved head. Why must he keep paying for the sins of his father?

She turned back to the article expecting more of the same when Felicity read the words that filled her with dread. Oliver Queen told the police officer to shoot him. What? She read it again and again. The tears began to flow from her eyes. There was a time when she would have worried Oliver would notice but these days…she was trying to be understanding after everything Oliver had gone through in prison but no, this, THIS - needed to be addressed. She pushed back her chair, walking over to face her husband.

So Matt Mattovich tweet this pic from 7x10 yesterday and it got me thinking…I NEED to know why we are suffering. I know that @it-was-a-red-heeler and I talked about a reason - so a wrote something…hope you enjoy. Fluff and angst set shortly before 7x10. Also available on AO3.

“No sex until there is hair.” Felicity pushed back at her husband, getting off the couch where they had recently been snuggling.

Oliver began to chuckle looking up at his wife with her mussed hair. “Very funny. Felicity, my hair is been like this for a while and we’ve had sex.”

“Oliver, I was being understanding!” Felicity sighed as she ran her hands through her own hair.  “You had just gotten out of prison. Just like when you joined The League there was a reason. But today, today you shaved it again. There is no reason. Other than to torture me. So, no sex.” Felicity headed over to the kitchen, looked in the fridge before changing her mind and filling the kettle.

Love how you can put a story together, when something is bothering you, I know how much you love Oliver’s hair long, I don’t mind his hair any way, I’m an eyes and smile person. That’s another thing I love, we are all different and except each other’s differences.

Wonderful Story. Sorry I didn’t get to read it until now. I’m in Sydney, My Darling Grandson went home today, I will miss him terribly. I forgot to recharge my Data, thought I had until the Weekend.
