Ah my dear dear dear anon, I’m a bit like Can when it comes to certain principles but I’m sure you don’t want to hear my personal opinion on eavesdropping versus overhearing. :D but I’ll say it anyways : even if she accidentally overheard him, the right thing would be to respect his privacy and walk away. But she choose to listen in and to jump to conclusions. It’s a common occurrence in this type of fiction and a very repetitive one in this lovely show. and I’m not a big fan of how it’s often used. I’m glad it didn’t disturb you. :)

It’s just a bit annoying to see her doing the same mistakes she did before : jumping to conclusion from something she overheard. 

I don’t think I said Can flirted with Ayça. i just thought his lack of efforts in including Sanem to the conversation were out of character, compared to the Can in the first episodes.

Once more, my issues aren’t with the characters but how they were written in this episode and the repetitive pattern used by the writers. I really like this story and the characters and was clearly hoping for more. But I’m very glad you liked the episode.

Ok so we begin with Emre learning about the fact that his dad is sick and that is why he left. He also leaned that Can knew this but didn’t tell him. And well, he’s pissed.

He told Can that if he were in his place, he’d have accused Emre of being many different things. But since he’s Can Divit, he gets away with it. Which, to be fair, he’s right. If Emre had hid this from Can, Can would have freaking disowned him. So payback is an actual bitch isn’t it Can Divit?

Next we had this sweet moment which KILLED ME. They were all crying knowing they have finally grown up. Ayhan is moving away, Muzzo is engaged and is also moving away with Guliz. I actually cried with them because it was so damn sweet. I mean just look at Muzzo. He got his happy ending, the girl of his dreams. But he also has to say goodbye to his friends that he grew up with. My heart couldn’t take this scene. It really couldn’t.

And next we had the eventful wedding. The events that occurred in this wedding is one thing, Mevkibe and Nihat is whole other. I MEAN LOOK AT THEM. The acing is just pure gold. It was as if they’re actual daughter was getting married. Same with Sanem and Can. They were so damn proud of they’re siblings. I couldn’t handle it. My babies.

And then we had thins GOLDEN scene. As much as I LOATHE Huma, my god did I laugh my ASS off during this scene. I was actually dead you guys. God bless who ever wrote this scene.

And then we had the Can and Yigit stand off. Can learned Yigit had been lying about the America thing to Sanem. He drags him out and they get into a fight. Sanem being the useless person that she is (I’m mad at her don’t @ me) does absolutely nothing.

But at least after this stand off they have a sweet moment where they talk there issues out and kiss, and our four lovebirds all have a toast. Emre hopes that they will al get old together and have their kids grow up together. Yup, these writers really wanted to kill us on this episode. But I knew this meant the storm was upon us.

And we got to the climax of the whole episode. Sanem decides to publish her journal that’s all about her feelings about Can and her falling in love. Yigit reads that journal, his mental self doesn’t like it and so THROWS THE FREAKING THING INTO THE FIRE! Can being the pure baby he is tries to save the journal and burns his hand in the process. My poor baby. And then knowing it was Yigit’s doing,he goes full on Can Divit mode and gets into a fight where Yigit gets “injured”. Sanem walks in and all hell breaks loos.

Sanem being the dumbass bitch that she is, obviously doesn’t believe Can. I mean putting my own feelings aside, this is because she’s an innocent character. She believes the absolute good in people and thinks everything and everyone is unicorns and bunny’s. In terms of character development, this reaction was accurate because that is the essence of who Sanem is. That is why Can fell in love with her to begin with. But regardless, she should have believed her man. She doesn’t. And Can, being the unstable dude that he is, probably said the best line in the entire show. He said, “if you actually don’t believe me, if you actually believe I would lie to you and try to hurt you, then I really have no reason to be here”. AMEN MISTER! Sanem cries after him, and well, sucks to be her I guess (I am so pissed at her I can’t even).

And then, the final scene. THIS SCENE YOU GUYS. Can’s. tears. KILLED. ME. He was actually CRYING. I cried with him. THE FREAKING MUSIC DID NOT HELP. Oh my lord the song you guys. Whoever chooses the soundtrack for this show deserves an international EMMY. Sanem was crying as well. But did I feel bad for her? Nope. Did I cry with her? NOPE! Quite frankly, she did this to herself. So bitch, CRY. You ain’t getting any sympathy from me. But Can, oh dear lord did I feel for him.

I’m not even going to talk about how Can embarrassed the fuck out of Sanem by getting his friend to offer her a book deal. This is not a blame Sanem situation, they both are at fault here.

Did Can give her the benefit of doubt when she went to him & tried to explain her reasons for doing the things she did in the past? No he dumped her & basically made her feel like shit every chance he got. How quickly you guys forget these things. He never even apologized for it either. Did Sanem run away? No she endured his bs because she loved him. Every chance he gets he tries to run away & this time he did. Sanem didn’t even get a day to process anything. He had weeks & still came up with insults that she took & took & took just waiting for him to give her a chance to explain. Sanem watched him rip up the letter she poured her heart into in her face, why wouldn’t she think he would do something like that if he was angry enough?
