okay there’s this artwork i’ve been looking for and i forgot the title but it depicts a bunch of narcos/cartel members with the virgen de guadalupe except she’s an anime girl. did i make this up in my mind palace i feel like i’m going crazy

responding to an absurdly stupid take by saying “these are the people i have to share a highway with” has replaced saying a lot of not very nice things about people with said takes. for me

it reminds me that the ultimate goal is safe coexistence while also being like goddamn i wish you were less stupid for everyones sakes

Made this post and then the new property manager (who started on Monday and only finally emailed us today because I sent a vaguely professionally hostile email to her boss because I hadn't heard anything and was not convinced she existed) asked for a list of open action items which her predecessor should have had but apparently wasn't keeping track of, which I learned when I met her boss and provided her with the list of open action items, which I guess tragically died in a fire in the last 2 weeks since she was sitting at my kitchen table, being menaced by the skull. How many people's jobs am I doing now

It’s like. People can tell if you don’t really like or connect with them. If you aren’t truly enamored with someone you will have a hard time coming up with activities to do together to deepen the friendship. Because you don’t really like that person that much.

listen to me, this is so so important: you've gotta get used to really giving it your 60% as a default. like don't half-ass it necessarily but try not to go over 70% or so of an ass. you'll feel better and live a happier more fulfilled life, and on the rare occasions where you do need to lock the fuck in you'll be able to pull off bullshit that the sad miserable wretches giving it their 100% can never dream of, because they're busy draining themselves dry and you have energy reserves to spare.
