I present to you, my first drawing of one Koral Tachonis. Featuring Alba Tachonis who is strongly considering placing another fae curse upon him.

This is a "If Koral survived & recovered" au that i very much like to delve in. A small bit of a detour with a "if he got reformed after death" but ive since preferred just the former.

The music still plays in his head and dear dead gods that prolonged time of the curse all but shattered any sense of sanity he has, but hey he does have control over his own body (mostly) now so that's nice. Pour all the mania into this lad, he's doing great

I've gotten better at character creation with them the past couple of years (in no small part determinate on the type of encouragement & denials I was greeted with during the processes of making them).

I have 4 that I would consider created (maybe 5 if I ever get back to my *very* first character years back) and have art at leasy started of them. In order

•Moss, a fey'ri ranger with a spore-like curse they acquired while running away from Faerun, they disguise themselves as a dryad to try and be more subtle. [First one made, love my creachure but was also made a spur of the moment upon discovering rare/Forgotten races. Doesn't have a character sheet but if I find a willing DM to help create proper stats with me, maybe one day]

•Rionnag (Rion) Saorsa, a selkie ranger. Had his coat stolen while on a swim only to find the lighthouse keeper who fished it up "sold it already" so he just decided to stay there since everywhere else out of the waters os Scary. Pretends to be a human Very Badly, hes the worst at lying but his face is cute so hes allowed to get away with it. [Love me a selkie character, I loved playing as him before the Horrors of my first campaign happened so alas. Pretty solid feel id say, big-silly crabeater seal]

•Iskra Rayet, a nobel hexblood Archfey Warlock, made a deal with Lady Zybilna for "the power to escape my family" and in exchange gave her his old identity. Wears a mask that hides a face that cannot be perceived, is very devout to his matron/"muse", and may or may not be collecting coven members its fine. [My love <3 the favorite currently, made for the purpose of spiting my ex-dm that slowly became more and more spiteful as I figured out how warlocks work, its great. Love drawing him, love hexbloods, is the reason I started spending a stupid amount of money on physical and digital books]

•Basalt, a warforged thief rogue, built to be a shop assistant until disaster struck and after so much time passed, learned how to traverse streets and steal what it needed. Its built with the design of a ball-jointed doll & has a habit of copying mannerisms of those its close with. [My currently working character, got it built up well and I have such hopes for a new dm & party cos theyre actually my friends and cool. Trying to claw its way up to being my favorite, who knows. Mechanically built to be new-dm friendly cos i didnt want to overwhelm with a bunch of spells and feats and things for a first go and I like this guy so. Excited to play & continue to clean up and develop. I did give this robot ptsd but its fineee]

I like rambling about my lads and filling in small quirks about them so.

Thimble and the Thistle: Similiar names are obvious of course. I do quite love Thistle being a plant that is so for the nature of it all. Golden finches, butterflies, bees, they lead so much to it and grow so wild and free and sharp. Defiance and resilience, a bloom meant for the good of the rarity and the defense of the small.

Thjazi Fang and the Ivy Vine: Ivy vines are so truly everywhere. Along trees, over brick, covering the ground. It spreads and stretches out and reaches everywhere it can. A vine of fidelity and endurance, there are few places not touched by its presence.

🌅The Rememberance and the Portance💎

Azune Nayar and the Passiflora/Passion Flower: Azune's reminded me of passion flowers since day one, before I'd even heard of his favorite color. The blooms and burst of color scream Him to me. Forgoing the religious connections for brevity, I hold dear the connection on intense love the flower represents as a show of the drowning emotions Azune finds himself pouring. Its intensity, it's colors, its egregious uniqueness I all find to be Azune so fully.

Murray Mag'Nesson and The Poor Man's Rose/Lisianthus: I did find creative liberties in my depiction of the lisianthus, blending both the common peach-type of coloring with the colored tips type because both seem so much like Murray to me. While price is to be evident in these flowers, they also provide more for their purchase, full and voluptuous, full of more flowers per stem, they feel a more fulfilling trade for proper rose alternatives. These flowers also represent a gratitude, an appreciation, and an outgoingness that builds upon lifelong bonds. What's more Murray than such a flower

🦌The Blessing and The Omen🪶

Thaisha Lloy and the Jasmine: Jasmine surrounds Thaisha in everything, following her as much as hoofprints do. Jasmines represent motherhood as a mother's unyielding love. Love surrounds this flower in so many forms of romantic, platonic, and motherly ways, seen as a blessing in and of itself, and resilient beyond measure.

Vaelus and the Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow Flowers & the Ghost Orchid: The Yesterday Today Tomorrow flowers are a show of time and everchanging life. Flowers that change over its life cycle, the represent how time and life is forever moving and forever changing, unstoppable in its ways. Vaelus' life shows an immortal still living and still going and unable to stop the change inevitable in finding her. The Ghost Orchid is a flower of mystery and elusiveness. A flower that pulls a hunt for the impossible, an otherwordliness, and a fragilness in the environment it calls its home. While itd be a flower haunting Vaelus in what she knows and feels should be how she should stay, this flower is also a symbol for perseverance and for a survivor despite itself.

💮His Aspirant and Her Radiance🌻

Tyranny and the Bleeding Hearts: The general aesthetic of the bleeding heart flower reminds me a lot of Tyranny. The love, the pain, the vibrancy. It came very naturally as a choice. The flower represents a strong and unconditional love. It represents loss and even in tales of that love being unrequited. Though still understanding how it is to be a physical person, Tyranny shows such strong passion and such double edged guilt for herself and that feeling more than bleeds out of her.

Wicander Halovar and the Sunflowers & Moonflowers: Symbols of the light in both senses of the world, the two celestial named flowers feel very apt for our aasamarian sorcerer. While the sunflower's symbol of warmth and light is clear, they also represent a desire for freedom and truth. Moonflowers call for spiritual awakening, used to reestablish trust and stability which both seem as strong building blocks for Wicander's hopes.

🦁The Twin Cats, Brothers in Arms🐺

Teor Pridesire and the Dandelion: Lion pun in funny. As additional connections, there's the way that dandelions travel far from their roots when they do reminiscent to me of Teor's travels. Dandelions are also a call for change, a call for growth. Some seeing them as stages of celestial bodies in their life cycle, even asides from the dandy-lion joke im fond of, symbols for the kind of warmth and light Teor carries appeals to.me in these flowers as well.

Kattigan Vale and the Wolfsbane: Wolf pun is also funny. Its things like this that make these two so good and connected: dorky puns and word association. Wolfsbane is also a poisonous plant, to humans, pet, livestock. With a man who feels weight and poor fortune, disconnection and death all around him, his flower yielding that beautiful untouchable quality seems just. A plant used to poison arrows, the shape of a hood as its flower, despite the straightforward qualities, the poison is also a protection. The flower representing protection and precaution, there's more than just boldfaced threat here.

⚔️The knight and his Lord💀

Julien Davinos and the Jewelweed: Also known as the "Touch-me-not," jewelweeds are known for their popping pods that expel when touched. With a color pallet that reminds me of the knight and the comparison of an abrasive nature, I found the comparison funny myself. As a bonus, jewelweeds are symbolic of healing and we can only hope for our Sir Davinos this ring true.

Occtis Tachonis and the Skeleton Flower: The comparisons to the skeletal were an immediate hook for me. These flowers becoming translucent to reveal their "bones" and our Tachonis here being a living cadaver, it was simply not something I could resist. These flowers also represent a balance between life and death & personal transformation, both of which embody Occtis quite soundly.
