when you think you've found a decent blog but then you see them reblogging a van-gogh-was-relatable post and your hopes fizzle away to nothing

no offence but all these people saying "man this is a first for evan his character is truly a bad person i hate him" as if tate wasn't a mass murderer and rapist and james wasn't a sadistic serial killer??

in the spirit of school starting, tbh i don’t like those posts that say “your grades don’t define you! how well you do in school is not a measure of how smart you are!” like i understand the intent is to let people understand that getting a poor grade isn’t reflective of their abilities, and that there are other factors to the grade than them just being ~~~dumb~~~, but a lot of those posts undermine the people whose futures depend on them getting good grades, and make it seem like the person doing trash in a class from lack of effort can have the same capabilities as the person working their ass off to maintain good solid grades
