Olam Collective is an art space for radical Jewish creators, artists, writers, and thinkers. Inspired by the work of late twentieth century anti-Zionist groups, Olam seeks to continue their legacy of activism. This is a safe space for radical Jews to share their work, thoughts, and experiences. Created in 2016, Olam is a trailblazing zine, paving the way for other Jewish art collectives on Tumblr.
After a two-year long hiatus, Olam is active once again; this is our awakening. We have crept out of a darkness, out of the abyss, and into the light.

Hello! I want to thank you for the poem "Lion King". My father is Jewish and I got his Jewish hair, and since we live far away from family and a temple, I didn't grow up with any idea of pride when it came to my hair and the culture it's connected to. It's not just thick and curly and kinky because of my Asian mother, it's because I'm Jewish. I recently cut my hair very short, but I'm not afraid to leave the house with it looking like a floofy mess. Thank you so so much

does writing have to be about jewish topics or can it be anything?
the main focus of this zine is to voice jewish creators, so it’s okay if your piece is more secular-centric! hope that answers your question. :)
