I haven’t posted properly about my ALL HAIL CHAOS launch yet because I become overcome every time I think about it.

Listen, my meta fantasy with gang of chaos gremlin bisexuals criminals etc and there’s a musical book went over better than I could have dreamed but sequels are tricky and I know I made you guys wait - I was sick but also I knew the book could be better!

But people came! People flew in to come and brought me flowers and one reader said something very insightful about Glacia and Diane Duane came (!!!) and Sarah Maria Griffin did an introduction so sincere and beautiful it made me wish to cry. I’m not very good at being sincere without cracking jokes but I tried to be in this blog post.

I did try to give a reader a skull. Mistakes were made.

I am so grateful, for those who came and those who were there in spirit.

I thought I might share one of my new tattoos. A couple years ago, a dear friend and I coined the term “fish bag moment”

A fish bag moment might be sitting all alone in an empty new apartment after coming out and upending your life, or starting a new job in a brand new line of work because it’s closer to your dreams

It’s what happens when you take a leap of faith or make a hard decision for yourself, when the future is so hard to visualize and everything feels scary. You’re just a fish in a bag and you can’t see where you’re going
