I don’t typically post about anything political but I feel this needs to be put out there. 

I don’t support either candidates and not for their political views in particular but because of their views on abuse. 

As a woman who has been mentally abused by someone who told me what I could wear, when I could wear it, and told me who to be and if I wasn't that person I was wrong. Or that everything I did was wrong, I was stupid, I was ugly, and I was the problem.

As a woman who was sexually assaulted/raped in the back of a car because as his girlfriend I was obligated to pleasure him. Because this boy is still walking the streets because not only did someone I called a friend not believe me, but because where I live doesn’t have a quote on quote definition of what sexual assault actually entails. 

As a woman who was hit behind closed doors but no one believed me because he didn’t leave a mark, and “He’s too nice to do that” and “ya’ll are such a cute couple”

As a woman I cannot support these candidates. Because Trump’s “locker room” talk is the reason my boyfriend thought it was “my job to pleasure him”. Because Trump isn’t going to put anything in place that would define what sexual assault is.  Because Hillary is standing by and still married to a man who has abused several woman. Because Hillary claims to support woman and our rights yet has refused to leave a man who has violated them!
